Spring Break was nearing and everyone was excited for the break. I was planning to spend the break sleeping and catching up with Supernatural but I'm sure the Crunchies have other plans.

"Spring Break! Finally I've been look forward to this since forever!" Alexa shouted happily.

"I know! Guys, we got to go to the beach together! I need to catch some waves. I might even see THE SEAL!" Ray and the other all agreed. Alexa and Ray repeatedly kept shouting "The Seal" at each other. Must be some annoying inside joke.

As everyone was excitedly discussing their plans for the break I noticed Angela hasn't said a thing the entire time. She's usually very peppy and cheerful, it's very unusual for her to be so quiet. I wondered if something was wrong.

"So what are you doing over break?" I asked as I scooted over to where Angela was sitting. My question pulled her from her trance of staring at the floor and she looked up and smiled.

"Oh uh, I guess I'll go to the beach with the others or something. I didn't really have anything planned out. Maybe hangout with my friend Web or play Murder on Minecraft." She was forcing a smile while giving an answer that probably was meant to satisfy my question.

"Is there something wrong? You're usually never gloomy." She frowned at me as I mentioned her somber mood.

"It's that noticeable? Sorry, it's nothing to concern yourself with. I don't want to bother you." She pulled out her phone for a distraction.

"Well I already know there's something wrong so you might as well tell me." I said.

" I don't know, I guess I feel left out sometimes." She sighed.

"Why don't you just join the conversation? Include yourself." I suggested.

"No, it's not that. You don't understand it's more than just the conversation. It's not important." Before I could ask her what she meant, Angela got up from her seat and left.

No one noticed she was gone.
