Chapter 16

I stopped by the vending machine to get a snack on the way to my next class. As I was waiting I heard voices from the hallway not too far away from where I was.

"Hey! What did you just call me? Ethan look at this, isn't she cute? Trying to stand up for herself."

"Heh yeah, how pathetic. Scream all you want but no one is here to help you."

I ran as quickly as I could to the scene. I saw two guys pinning Skye to the wall. Without thinking I ran up to one of them and punched them hard in the face.

"Fuck off you creeps. That was just a warning." I warned them.

"Like fuck we will. Mind your own business. Ethen what do you think?" Ethan shouted.

"Hey it's two of us, let's fuck this guy up real good." The other Ethen said.

Ethen threw a punch at my face but I quickly dodged it and hit him in the guts. Ethan grabbed me from behind trying to get me into a choke holder but I elbowed him in the stomach. A crowd started forming around us during our fight they cheered on as we kept throwing punches. I took Ethen down with a kick to the groin and was about to take Ethan down when the crowd suddenly died down.

"ENOUGH! The three of you come with me this instant." A teacher appeared along with Skye. She had an apologetic look on her face but I understood. I would have seriously hurt those guys if we weren't stopped.

Ethen and Ethan were given detention for a month. I got away with a week when I showed them what happened beforehand on the school cameras.
