You've Changed.. (George Shelley Fanfic)

Chapter 19- Back to basics

A few hours later i found myself gathering my clothes and stuffing them into my backpack, getting ready to go back to my normal boring everday life back at home.

As i brushed my hair in the mirror i looked at george behind me, he was sitting down on his bed and carefully zipping up my bag, making sure i had packed everything. 

I put georges hairbrush gently back down on his dresser and ran my fingers along the edge.

"Ready to go?" George said clearing his throat slightly, I nodded. He put my backpack over his shoulder and opened the door, allowing me to go out first.

As we strolled down the stairs, Dominic was waiting with a big smile on his face and fiddling with his car keys.

"Catch son" Dom said tossing the keys to george "go out and start the car..."

George nodded and went out to the car...

Dom smiled, "I hope you enjoyed your stay at the Shelley house!"

I giggled " i definitley did! thank you.."

As i started to walk past him, he grabbed my arm and turned to me.. "your parents dont know anything about what happened with you and george..okay?"

I looked at him blankly.. "okay"

After that i made a quick exit out to George making sure not to keep him long.

I got in quickly and closed the door. Sighing.

"you alright?" george said putting his hand on mine and giving it a squeeze,

"yeah just tired.." i said smiling at him.

He smiled back and then reversed out of the driveway. I said goodbye to the house in my head. Just incase i might not ever see it again.

George switched on the radio and turned on his album. Starting with the song Beethoven.

I giggled "are you being serious?"

George smiled and then start singing along terribly as a joke!

"oh so thats what you really sound like?" i say laughing

He gasped sarcastically "im an amazing singer! admit it!"

"never!"

George turned the song up louder and start singing louder!

"Okay Okay! You're amazing! The best singer ever!" I shout as i burst out laughing.

George turned it down, "Good!"

George pulled into the driveway of my lonely house.

He turned off the ignition and we both sat there silently.

I didnt know what to do now.. In movies and stories it all ends with a romantic walk up to the door and then a shy kiss that actually turns out both of them kissing the face off each other and the  backing it up to the bedroom! but this is the real world.

"so do think ill get a shot at a second date..?"

I turned to him and smiled "ahhh..so this was a date!"

George shrugged "Well..not really but we could count it as one?"

I nodded.. "yeah okay..i'd like that"

"me too.." george said shyly "call me?"

I smiled and nodded as i opened the car door,grabbed my bag and shut it.

I ran up to my door and let myself in. Before i could turn to give George a wave, He was gone.
