Marinette's POV
I ruffled his golden hair and pinched his cheeks.

"Adrien." I said softly.

He groaned and buried his face in my waist. I sighed and flicked his forehead.

"Adrien. Are you going to school?"

He flinched and slowly got up.

"I'm not really feeling up to it...." He said sadly.

"Oh okay, then I won't too."

"You don't have too, wouldn't want to ruin your attendance."

"No, I want to be here for you."

After all....I'm leaving soon.

Adrien's POV
My face suddenly flushed red and my heart began beating faster.

What is this. It's happening again.

I put my hand over my face and fell back on the bed.

"Hey Adrien, let's go see your mother."

I sighed and looked at her. I'm afraid to face reality, afraid to discover the truth. I just want everything to go back to the way it was but, I can't keep running away from my problems.

"Alright." I replied.

"Here, my parents washed your clothes from yesterday." She said while handing me my clothes.
I started to undress, forgetting that Marinette was still in the room.

"W-w-w-w-what the heckle!" She shrieked.

Oh no.

Marinette's POV
I dashed out of the room and slammed the door.

"O-oh my gosh."

I could feel my cheeks burning up. I can't believe I fell in love with that cheeky punny guy. He's lucky that he's good looking and perfect model material, otherwise I would've thrown my alarm clock at him. Adrien opened the door and looked away in embarrassment.

"S-sorry Mari." He said as he began to head downstairs.

I nodded and walked into my room. I shook my head and slapped my face with both hands.

Get yourself together Marinette!

I pulled out a maroon sweater, black tights, brown boots and a large dark brown coat. I quickly got dressed and rushed downstairs. My parents handed us a quiche and cream puff each. I took his hand and led him outside.

"Thanks mama, bye!"

She waved in response and continued to tend to the customers. I unconsciously kept a strong grip on his hand as we strolled through the streets of Paris. I stuffed my cheeks with the hot quiche as the freezing snow trickled onto my skin. I looked back at Adrien who barely touched his pie.

"You have to eat something Adrien." I said worriedly.

"I'm not really hungry." He said with a cold stare.
