Marinette's POV
I looked in the mirror and stared at my reflection. I put a bit of makeup on and approved of my outfit.

"You're good to go Marinette." I said reassuringly.

I ran out of the bakery in a red beanie, gold frame sunglasses, brown laced boots and a black pleaded skirt paired with a sleeveless maroon turtleneck. Mama ran after me with a cup of coffee. My red lips curled upwards as I happily took the cup and sped walked to the location. Luckily the school was nearby so even if I left a little late I could still make it if I hurried. I took my last sip before throwing the cup in the bin. As I approached the building I saw a tall gentlemen with fluffy golden hair and emerald green eyes. My eyes sparkled, I immediately recognized the young man leaning against the wall.

"Adrien!" I yelled, waving my arm in the air.

His jaw dropped open and his eyes widened. Adrien and I ran towards each other but being the idiots we are, we collided. I whimpered and tumbled to the floor as I held my forehead in pain.

"Ugh." I groaned. I fluttered my eyes open and pulled myself together.

Adrien's POV
My eyes twitched in pain as they slowly began to open. I saw a beautiful bluenette with gorgeous bluebell eyes sitting in front of me. I quickly stood up and gave her a helping hand.

"Adrien!"

She yelled before launching herself at, locking her arms around my neck and almost pinning me against the wall. My face flushed red as a frantically held her waist in my arms. We used to do this all the time as kids, I missed this feeling so much. I rested my face beside her neck and chuckled.

"I missed you so much Marinette." I whispered.

"Me too." She replied.

My body didn't budge at all, I continued to hug her longingly. People walked by and stared, but I didn't care because this is my special moment with Marinette.

"Um Adrien, can you get off now." She asked politely.

I ignored her.

"Seriously you banana head!" Marinette yelled after pulling my ears.

I flinched and stumbled backwards. I heard whispers and giggles from the other end of the wall. Their shadows dancing back and forth.

"Stop! Don't push."
"Darn it, it was getting good."
"I can't see anything, get out of the way Kim."
"We shouldn't be spying like this."
"WOAH!"

These familiar voices said before collapsing on top of each other like dominos.

Marinette gave a long sigh before giving them an 'Are you serious?' look. Alya clapped her hands together apologetically. Marinette flicked her forehead and giggled before getting up like the rest of us.

"Dude, that was so not smooth." Nino teased.

The other boys laughed at his comment while I slightly pouted in annoyance. But I didn't mind because the only thing I could focus on right now was the return of the love of my life. My eyes glistened and twinkled as they reflected her beauty, she raised eyebrow and chuckled.

Marinette's POV
I stared at everybody, feeling out of place. It was as if there was a barricade, as if they had something I didn't, and that was their connection. I mean what did I expect? To be friendly with everyone just like back then even though we were separated for years. My head tilted down and I could feel my eyes slightly watering but I sucked it up and put on a happy facade.
