Narration
It was Saturday morning, the moment Marinette had been anticipating all week. She woke up all by herself and ran down to see her parents.

"Mom!? Let's go! Adrien is waiting." Marinette shouted excitedly.

Sabine turned around to see her daughter tugging on her dress desperately.

"Now dear, we still have 4 hours till the meeting time. You haven't even prepared yourself." Her mother replied.

The shop had very few customers at the moment, so she picked Marinette up and brought her into her room. She then began rummaging through her closet, picking out the prettiest and the most flexible clothes she had. Marinette sat there watching her mother argue with herself about her outfit, she twiddled her thumbs and patiently waited. At last, her mother approached her with an adorable white jumpsuit. It had red and black laces and an adorable small red ribbon above her chest. It complimented the two maroon ribbons which held her hair up for each pigtail. Marinette's ocean blue eyes glistened as she twirled around in front of the mirror.

"You look perfect sweetie." Sabine complimented.

"Thanks mom!" The small bluenette replied.

"Now go pack your things, and when your done be a good girl and help your daddy bake."

Marinette saluted and ran across the room to pull out a small pink side purse from her cupboard. She slowly began filling up the purse in no time. Sabine left Mari's room after observing Marinette from the trapdoor. She returned to the cash register while Marinette was still happily preparing herself. Almost an hour past and Sabine heard Marinette running down the stairs along with loud rumbling and thumps. She walked towards the staircase to see what was making the ruckus and saw her daughter sandwiched between bags and straps filled with all sorts of toys and bedroom items.
"Sweetie what are you doing! There is no need to bring so many things to a mere picnic." She scolded.

Marinette pouted and her head hung low.

"I just thought, maybe Adrien wanted to play a lot so I brought everything with me." She said with a disappointed tone.

Sabine sighed and slowly took bags off Marinette until she was left with only her small pink purse.

"You'll be at the park dear, there are plenty of things to play with. Adrien can come over another time and you two can play."

"Thanks mom!"

Marinette zoomed back up with all her bags and put them back. She ran back down and helped her father make pastries.

                           Timeskip

It was 20 minutes before the meeting time. Everyone was ready and excited, especially Marinette. Sabine packed the lunch boxes full of pastries and deserts for the Agrestes to enjoy. Tom was waiting in the car with Marinette.

"Mom we're gonna be late!"

Sabine left the bakery with 5 large lunch boxes almost towering over her head. She carefully entered the car and placed the boxes on her lap and they began driving to the designated place.

When they arrived the Agrestes were already there, they were sitting on a picnic blanket with gourmet French dishes placed in the center. As soon as Adrien laid eyes on Marinette his face immediately lit up and he ran to hug Marinette.

"Hello Mari!" He shouted.

He hugged her tightly, his cheek smothering hers. Marinette felt a little uncomfortable however she didn't dislike it, after all, it was Adrien.

"Hi Adrien."

She returned the hug and the two spent two minutes just giggling and linking arms as they slowly trotted to their parents with their small feet. Marinette and Adrien sat next to each other and nonchalantly held hands.

"Oh my, they are quite the lovebirds aren't they?" Sabine asked.

Mrs Agreste sweetly giggled.

"Indeed." Mrs Agreste replied.

The two fathers simply shrugged their shoulders cluelessly.

Marinette and Adrien both grabbed their cutlery and began poking and scooping from all sorts of dishes that had been laid out on the cloth. The adults chuckled and ate with their son or daughter. After 40 minutes of eating Marinette and Adrien bid their parents goodbye to play at the park. The parents simply watched their children play from afar.

Marinette and Adrien played on all sorts of playground equipment until they were too tired to run around. They slid on the slide together, they pushed each other on the swings and climbed everything they could. Marinette saw a field of white flowers not far from where their parent were, she grabbed Adrien's hand and quickly walked over there and sat down. She patted the spot next to her and Adrien joined her. She began picking small white flowers a little bigger than her thumbs. She joined all of them and made an adorable flower crown that barely fit over Adrien's fluffy hair.

"There. Mom taught me how to do this. She told me she always gave papa these because she loved him, so I gave you one." She said innocently.

Adrien scratched his head happily.

"T-thank you Mari." He stuttered.

Adrien leant in and slightly kissed Marinette on the head.

Marinette fell backwards and began mumbling all sorts of unidentifiable words.

"Shhhh! It's a secret. Mother told me that I should only do that to people I like! Marinette is my princess so it's okay!"

Marinette sat back up and they both gently leaned against each other. Adrien took Marinette's pinky finger and they both pinky promised to be best friends forever.

"Promise." They both whispered.

Mrs Agreste and Mrs Dupain Cheng squealed as they watched their children do such sweet things.

"Did you see that!? My Adrien is such a dare devil! I can't wait to see them grow up together, oh they'll be the perfect couple." Mrs Agreste blurted out.

"I think so too!" Mrs Dupain Cheng replied.
