i feel so alone,
with darkness being the only thing surrounding me.
it wraps its arms around and engulfs me,
carrying it with me everywhere i go.
the world seems so empty and all i feel is pain.
but i am so used to the emotion,
that i can't find the courage to walk away.
it is all that i have ever known,
and all that i will be.
a sea of loneliness, emptiness and despair.
