Maybe it's time
for me to come to terms,
that things are about to change in my life.
Or perhaps
they've already started to change,
and I'm just afraid to admit it.
There are times
when I can feel those words
right at the tip of my tongue.
Just when I feel confident enough
and think I can tell you
what is hidden deep inside my heart.
I shy away
and think it's better left unsaid.
