You came into my life,
during a time of a darkness.
When all those around
turned against me.
When I was at my lowest point,
you were there,
always putting a smile
on my face.
Knowing the right things to say
that would make me laugh,
I was glad to have met you.
Soon after you became
my best friend,
a friend I love
with all my heart.
Now three years later
our friendship has become stronger.
And I would never want to lose you,
because you were the light in my life
and always will be.
