Chapter 7: Madi

I opened the door with the keys Headmaster gave me and entered a nice cool room. It was huge! Much bigger than a normal dorm room from pictures I've seen online. There was one four post bed on either side of the room. The right side was totally bare but the left was already decorated.

Madi had set up a fancy desk and hung pictures on the wall. Her bed had light green silk curtains draped and her bedding was green.

I assumed she had a connection with nature somehow because of all of this.

Her nightstand had an alarm clock and a vibrant purple dahlia on it. Between our two bed were glass double door leading out onto a balcony with a lovely view of a field with a small circular pavilion in the center. I looked to my left and there was an open door that led to what looked like a huge bathroom.

I walked inside and found a waterfall sink to my left with a big circular mirror above it and in front of me, there was a huge circular tub embedded in the floor. Of course to my right was a toilet.

I stepped out of the bathroom and turned around to find Madi right behind me.

I screamed. "Oh my goodness, you nearly scared the life out of me!" I exclaimed loudly.

She blushed. "I'm so very sorry." She said while bowing a little. "You're Violet, my new roommate, correct?".

"Yeah, you must be Madi. It's great to finally meet you!" I said holding out my hand to her. She took it with a firm grip.

Her hands were very soft and she smelled like a forest. She had on a cute dark green high low skirt with a light green top. Her tight black curly hair was resting on her caramel shoulders. She also had green highlights and green lip gloss on that matched her emerald eyes.

Man, this girl sure likes green.

"I'm still very sorry about me scaring you. I didn't mean to I was just observing you and I didn't know how to introduce myself. I'm kind of shy from time to time. I'll help you get set up if you like!" She said cheerily.

"Thanks that would be great!" I said with a smile.

I was really starting to like her. We walked out of the bathroom and over to my bed. We worked for hours on getting set up but by the time we were done I really liked it and it felt like home.

While she was in love with green, I was in love with blue and purple. And my side of the dorm reflected that.

"So have you gotten a tour of the school yet?" she questioned.

"Yes, the headmaster gave me a tour. Now I guess I don't know what to do next!" I exclaimed with a chuckle.

She thought for a moment then lit up with excitement. "I know exactly what to do! We should go visit the town outside of the school premises! This is our last vacation day before the start of the school year. We should spend it wisely!" she said giddily.

"Sure but, where should we go?" I asked.

"I have the perfect place!"

And with that she led me out of the room.

Hey guys! I'm am so so sooooooo sorry for the crappy and really short chapter. I have had the absolute worse case of writers block and as some of you may know I am a HUGE procrastinator. I've had some personal issues too so there's that. I will TRY to pick this story back up and care for it. Ya know I can never keep a promise when it come to writing but I'll try. Also GUYS WE MADE IT TO 60 VIEWS!!! That's over half 100!!! I'm hoping that we can get 70 in the next few chapters so that's my goal. Sorry for the long A/N and sorry if my next few chapters are crappy. As always I love feedback so give me lots!
