Chapter seven

The rest of the day flew by, and tuesday came. I slept in alittle late since I didnt have to go to school. It was about nine o'clock when I had woke up. When I did, Michael was sitting at the foot of my bed. "Why are you in here?" I asked him. "Waiting for you to get up. Isnt your oppinemnt at ten?" He asked me. "Yeah, wheres Cynthia?" I asked as I looked around the room. "Shower. I told her I would wake you up." He said just looking at the floor. "Brandy and Courtney?" I asked as I got up and looked threw my closet. "Making breakfest." He said still looking at the floor. "Whats wrong with you?" I asked him as I picked out my clothes. "Nervese." He said. "Its going to be fine." I said as I walked down stairs to change. Philip was sitting on the couch. "Morning gorgoues." Philip said smiling. My hair was as mess. "Shut up." I said glaring at him as I went into the bathroom to change. "Is Michael still upstairs?" Brandy asked me as I came out of the bathroom. "I think." I said walking into the livinroom. "I'll get him." Philip said as he walked upstairs. "Hes nervese." I said as I laid on the couch and streached. "Ah, new fathers. Always nervese." Cynthia said laughing as she sat in chair across the room. "I think its cute." I said smiling as I put on my shoes. "You think hes going to be okay?" Courtney asked as she handed me a piece of bacon. "Yeah." I said eatting it. "I gotta puke." Michael said running down stairs and into the bathroom. "Ahh." I said laughing a little. "Not funny. Its not normal you knock up a fan." Philip said coming down stairs and sitting on the couch. "Its cute!" I said as Michael came out of the bathroom. "Whats cute?" Michael asked. "You being nervese." I said smiling. "Im not nervese." Michael said as he sat on the couch. "Yeah, said the one that puke." Brandy said looking at Michael. Michael just flipped her off. "Well, come on. Were going to be late." Courtney said as we headed out the door.

"We better not be waiting for long." I said as we sat in the lobby to wait for my name to be called. "I hate waiting. and I hate doctors." Michael said sitting in one of the chairs and crossing his arms. "I do too." I said looking at him. "Im deffently going back with you." Cynthia said looking at me. "Yes you are." I said laughing. Michael just looked at me. "And you." I said looking at Michael. He smiled. "Hey! I get to." Philip said smiling real big. "No." I said laughing at him. "Why not?" Philip asked. Cause, your not the daddy." I said laughing still. "Well then." Philip said crossing his arms. "I dont want to go back there." Courtney said looking at me and laughing. "Good." I said smart. "I dont know." Brandy said laughing. "How about just the three of us." Michael said looking at me then Brandy. "What if I wanted to go back there?" Brandy said smart. "Well, I said you ant." Michael said getting hateful. I just out my head phones in and played 'Not The American Average' and ingored him.

We sat in the doctors lobby for almost an hour, when they finally called me back. Michael, Cynthia, and I got up and followed the nurse back. "Have a party with you?" The nurse said laughing. "Just a friend and the dad." I said smiling as I sat on table for pacinites. "Thats great. A spourive husband." She said as she got everythin ready. "No no, were not married." Michael said quickly. "Oh. Im sorry. I tend to asume." She said laughing a little. "Thats fine." I said stairing at the floor. Michael looked at me and walked closer to me. He hugged me. When he let go I looked at him funny. "What?" He said as the nurse walked out of the room. "Stop that." I said looking at him evily. "Stop what?" He said confussed. I looked at Cynthia and rolled my eyes. She laughed. Michael just sat down, glared and crossed his arms. "You ready to see what your having exatly?" The nurse said walking back into the room. I nodded my head as she put gel stuff on my stomic. The screen she had, lit up. Michael jumped from the chair and stood next to me. "That got his attention." The nurse said laughing. "Wheres the baby?" Cynthia asked looking at the screen. "Hang on, let me find it." She said moving this thing around. "Ah!" Cythia said looking at me and laughing. "I hope its a girl." I said getting exited. "Why a girl?" Michael asked looking at me. "Because. I've always wanted a girl?" I said laughing a little. "I want a boy." Michael said proudly. "Of course." I said rolling my eyes. "Hey, I do. But im fine with a girl." He said smiling at me. "Ah ha! Found the little thing." The nurse said as this little thing was on the screen. "Aww!" Cynthia said looking it. "I do belivie, im not seeing any signs of a boy. So, your having a girl." The nurse said smiling at me. I started to cry. "I'll let you guys alone." The nurse said as she turned everything off and left the room. "Were having a girl." I said looking at Michael. "Shes going to be beauitful." Cynthia said smiling like crazy. "Agreed." Michael said smiling like crazyy too. "You guys gotta think of names." Cynthia said looking at both of us. "Star." Michael said looking at me. "Middle name Star." I said looking at him. "What, why? What do you want for the first name?" He said shocked. "Ember." I said looking at him. "Ember Star. I like it." Michael said saying her name over and over again. "I like it too." Cynthia said still exited.

"Mee see pictures!" Brandy said as we walked out to the car. I handed her the pictures. "Its a girl." Michael said as Philip started to ask. "Really?!" Courtney said exited. "Really. Her names going to be Ember Star." I said smiling. "Thats unqie." Courtney said laughing a little. "Its badass is what it is." Philip said laughing as well. "Im so exited." I said. "I am too." Michael said smiling at me as we got into the car. "So what do you guys wants to do for the rest of the day?" Brandy asked. "Im not sure. Park?" I said looking at them. "Sounds good." Philip said streching. "Alright." I said as I headed outta town to mine and Courtneys favorite park.

We arrived at the park in about fifteen mintues. "Marry go round!" Courtney yelled running to the spiny marry go round. "Yes!" I said running to it. We was the only ones at the park. We had it all to ourselfs. "Chat time." Courtney said as we all sat on the marry go round and slowly spoun around. "About?" Philip said pushing the marry go round with his foot. "Well first is first. Michael. Cyndy. Are you guys dating yet?" Brandy flat out asked the two of us. "Um, well." I said looking at Michael. "No, why?" Michael said blankly. "And why not?" Courtney asked. "I think thats between us two." Michael said hateful. "Dont have to be rude." Courteny said smart. "Well, its privet life. Not yours." Michael said smart back. "Michael dude." Philip said looking at him. "Sorry." Michael said looking at the ground. "Anyways. Cynthia said breaking the tentchion. "How about, never have I ever?" Courtney said looking at everyone. "Why not." I said rolling my eyes. "Okay. I'll go first." Brandy said smiling. "Oh great." I said laughing. "Shh. Anywho, never have I everr... got ran over." Brandy said. Everyone held out a finger but me and Philip. "You've been ran over?" I said looking at Philip. "Yeah, so have you. Hush." Philip said laughing. "How?" I asked laughing. "I was chasing after a friend and he kinda backed up on me." Philip laughing. "Nice." Courtney said laughing as well. "How about you smartass?" Philip said looking at me. "Fourwheeler." I said laughing. "My turn. Never I have ever.. shit I've dont alot." Michael said deep in thought. "You can think of somthing." Courtney saidd looking at him. "Lets play somthing else, this is to hard." Michael said laughing. "Childish games." Philip said as he laid down on the marry go round. "I agree." Michael said getting up and going to the slide. "Go." Cynthia said nudging me. "Why?" I asked quietly. "Just go." Brandy said as she pushed me off the marry go round. "Well then." I said as I walked over to the slide. Michael was sitting on the top. "Having fun?" I said looking up the latter. "Not really." Michael said looking up at the sky. "Im sorry. What would you like to do?" I asked him. "Come here." Michael said still looking at the sky. I didnt say nothing just climbed up the latter and sat nxt to him. "Yea?" I asked him. "Im not sure what I want to do. We got to go back to California by the weekend. We got a band meeting." Michael said looking down the slide. "Oh, then go." I said looking at him. "I am. I just want you to come too." He said looking at me. "Why?" I asked confussed. "Cyndy. I like you." He said. "And? Wait. You like me? Since when?" I asked shocked. "Well, you tend to like someone your atteracted to." Michael said laughing a little. "Im gunna slap you." I said laughing. "Why you going to do that?" He asked me. "Because! Your freaking mood swings." I said laughing even more. "I have mood swings? Said the one thats pregnet." Michael said looking back at the sky. "You do!" I said pushing him a little. "Hey now, no need to get agressive." Michael said looking back at me. He just smiled. I looked down and blushed a little. "Hey." Michael said. I looked up at him. He leaned down and kissed me. I pulled away after a mintue and looked down the latter. He blew on my face. "Hey!" I said as he went down the slide. I went down after him. "Oww." He said as I landed behind him. I laughed at him. "You think its funny?" Michael said laughing as he picked me up in his arms and ran to the marry go round. Everyone had gotten off of it. He laid me on it and started to spin it. It got faster and faster. "Michael!" I yelled. Everyone was laughing. "Poor Cyndy." Courtney said as she fell on the ground laughing. "I'll save you!" Philip said as he stopped the marry go round from spinning. "My hero." I said laughing as he picked me up and carried me to the picnic table. "Thats spouse to be Michaels job." Cynthia said as she sat at the picnic table with me. "How?" Michael said sitting on top of the picnic table. "Baby daddys gotta be baby mommas hero." Cynthia said laughing. "This is true." I said looking at Michael. "Philip. You about ready to head back to LA?" Michael randomly asked Philip. "Not really. I like the south." Phlip said smiling. "Really?" Brandy said shocked. "Yeah. I do. Always have." Philip said sitting on the grass. "Shocker." Courtney said laughing. "Why do you guys gotta go back so soon?" Cyntia asked Michael. "Band meeting." I said looking at teh ground. "How do you know?" Brandy asked me. I looked at Michael. "Ah." Brandy said. "I guess we'll go home and help you pack?" Cynthia said looking at everyone. "Yeah. We leave tommrow anyways." Michael said as he got up and walkd to the car. "You okay?" Brandy asked me as the two of us slowly walked to the car. "Hes confussing. It hurts." I said looking at the ground as I got in the car. The hole car ride home was quiet.
