Chapter twentythree

A few days later, on the 5th warped date. Brandy finaly could play the AA songs memorized and good. She finaly gets to play on stage with them. "Are you ready babe?" Ben asked Brandy as she put the guitar around her neck. "Yeah im ready. A bit nervese tho." Branndy said smiling at him. "Nothing to be nervese about. Run around like a chicken without a dick." Danny said as he grabbed his mic. "That makes no cents what so ever." Brandy said looking at him lasughing. "Exactly." Danny said as he ran on stage. "Good luck!" Cynthia and I yelled at her as she ran on stage after Ben. "Everyone on of you! I would like to introduce you to a friend of mine. And a close personal friend of Bens. Bens girlfriend Brandy! Shes playing guitar with us today. So everyone fucking scream!" Danny yelled to the crowd. "Play something." Ben said to Brandy. "Go ahead." Danny said nodding his head to Brandy. Brandy looked at the crowd and started to play a solo from a Lincon Park song. Everyone in the crowd cheerd. Cynthia and I yelled and screamed. "Now thats some playing." Danny said after she got done. Brandy turned red as Ben hugged her. "Alright you crazy fucks. Lets play. This song is called, 'Not The American Average.'" Danny said as James started the song.

"You did great!" I said to Brandy as they came off stage. "We gotta get to Michael and Dj's set!" Cynthia yelled as Brandy sat Camrans guitar down and we all followed her out of the gate and threw the crowd to Vampires Everywhere's set. "Cyndy! You gotta play!" Dj said handingg me Aaron guitar. "What why?" I said confussed. "Aaron was being stupid and hurt his hand." Dj said climbing onto the stage. "I dont know. Im not that good." I said looking at Brandy. "Babe, you can do it." Michael said to me right before he walked out on to the stage. "You can, just follow me. Watch my fingures." Dj said to me. "You can do it!" Courtney said sticking up her thumbs. "Yes you can." Cynthia said after Dj kissed her and ran out on stage. "Oh my god." I said nervese as I slowly walked out on stage. "Cyndy, stand over there." Philip said pointing on the other side of the stage next to Dj. "I dont want to go out that far." I said to him. "Go!" Philip said pushing me half way. "Nervese are we?" Michael said as he smirked at me. I glared at him as I stood next to Dj. "The first song we play is called, 'I Cant Breathe.' Off the new album." Michael said as Philip started off the song. I quickly looked at Dj nervese. "Relax." Dj said to me as he started the song. I watch his hands go fast. I got lost. The song didnt sound right. "Cyndy think slow." Dj said to me as the song started to end. "You know the next song." Dj said to me. And I did. It was 'Call Out The Dead.' I played it perfectly. "Now thats what im talking about." Michael said smiling at me. He quickly kissed me before starting the next song. "Cyndy! The next song is 'Bleeding Rain.' It goes like this." Dj said showing me the cords slowly. Then the song started. I was getting the hang of it.

The show was over and I felt like my hands were going to fall off. "You did great." Michael said as he hugged me. "I cant belivie I did that." I said smiling really big. "How did Aaron hurt his arm?" Cynthia asked Michael. "Dropped an amp on it." Philip said sippin a beer. "It hurt that bad he couldnt play?" Courtney said looking at Aaron. "A parently." Dj said looking at Aaron who was laying on the grass. "Hey. I needed a break." Aaron said laughing a little. "We all do. But its only four days in." Dj said to him. "I know, but it serioursly hurts." Aaron said getting up off the ground. "Anyways. Wheres the next venu?" Courtney asked Michael. "I think its Arizona. I ant sure." Michael said as we walked to the bus. "We dont play tommrow." Dj said as he looked at the dates. "Day off in Arizona!" Courtney said exited. "I wanna get my hair done." Brandy said exited as well. "Alright. Sounds badass." I said. "I want to go to a bar down there." Philip as we got onto the bus. "I do to." Aaron said agreeing with him. "I'll watch Ember." Michael said looking at her asleep in Djs bunk. "We shall go with Brandy." Cynthia said smiling. "Sounds good." Brandy said exited to get her hair done.

"Ember, be good for daddy." I said the next day when we reached Arizona and was about to go get Brandys hair done. "Have fun." Michael said as he kissed me. I smiled and we started to walk down the sidewalk. "Im exited!" Brandy said with a smile. "Its going to look good babe." Ben said as he kissed Brandys cheek. "Aww." Cynthia said as he hugged Dj. "That salon looks nice." I said pointing to a hair place called, 'Cuts and Stuff.' "Shall we?" Dj said as he opened the door of us. "Thank you." Courtney said as she went in first and the rest of us followed her. "Hello how can I help you?" The lady at teh desk said. "I would like a cut and die." Brandy said still exited. "Alright this way. What color would you like?" The lady asked as she showed her to a chair. "Black, blonde highlights." Brandy said smiling. "That sounds amazing." The lady said as she put a towl around Brandy. "Hey! I see a badass store down the block." Dj said looking out the door. "Meet us with us after?" I said to Brandy as the lady started washing her hair. "Okay." Brandy said as Cynthia, Dj, and I went to the store Dj had spotted. "Why did you want to come here?" Cynthia asked as we walked down the sidewalk again. "It looked badass. Like lip servis." Dj said as we went into the store. It was called, 'Mayhem.' "Wow." Cynthia said looking at all the skull shirts on the walls. "What can I do for you?" A dude said behind the counter. "Just in town. Looking around." Dj said as we went further in the store. "Dj! Look! Its your band!" Cynthia said pointing to a Vampires Everywhere tshirt. "Ah shit." Dj said laughing. "Like that band?" The dude at the counter said. "Im in that band." Dj said laughing still. "For real?" The dude said in shock. "Yeah. Guitar player." Dj said as he conuited to look at stuff. "Is that a tattoo parler?" I asked the dude at the counter. "It is. Would you like a tattoo?" He said walking over to the station. I looked at Cynthia and smiled. "MATCHING TATTOOS!" Cynthia said as we both ran over to the guy. "What would you girls want?" The guy asked us. "Voodoo doll." Cynthia said without a question. "Really?" I said looking at her funny. "Yeah! Their cute!" Cynthia said. "Hmm, I got it! We'll each get a voodoo doll. I'll get your name inside it and you get mine." I said to her. "YES!" Sh said exited. "Alright. Whos first?" The guy asked us laughing a little. "You." She said pointing at me. "Fine." I said as I sat in the chair. "It wont hurt to bad." The guy said as he got his gun ready. "I sure hope not." I said laughing a little. "So, where are you wanting this?" He asked me. "How about, our neck?" Cynthia suggested. "Hell no." I said laughing more. "The ankel?" The guy suggested. "Sounds good." Cynthia said. "I dont know. Hip?" I said suggesting another spot. "Hey it works for me." Cynthia said laughing. "Alright hip it is." The guy said as he started to draw the tattoo outline.

An hour or so later we was done with both tattoos. "Wow babe, that looks amazing." Dj said as we started back to the hair salon. "Thanks. You think Brandys done?" Cynthia asked me. "Maybe." I said as we walked into the salon. Brandy was just being finished up. "Dont it look cute!?!" Courtney said smiling at Brandys hair. "I love it!" Cynthia said as Brandy was finaly done. "Really? Does it look good?" Brandy said looking in the mirror. "Perfect." Ben said as he wrapped his arms around her. Brandy smiled really big. "Im ready for some lunch." Dj said as walked back outside. "Where is there to eat around here?" Brandy asked as we started walking again. "Taco bell is that way." Dj said pointing down the road. "Fuck yes. Taco bell." Ben said as he took off running. "Ben!" Brandy yelled laughing. Ben stopped half way and laughed. "Freakin dork." Brandy said as we caught up to him. "I know." Ben said smiling.

"Ember. You want to take a nap?" Michael said to Ember while she was coloring. "No." Ember said smiling as she kept coloring. "Please?" Michael begged her. She nodded her head and crawled onto Michaels lap. "Thank you." Michael said as he laid down and started to fall sleep. Ember poked Michaels nose. He was pasted out. Ember crawled back down and conuited to color again. "Its hot in here." Philip said as he walked on the bus. Ember looked up at Philip. "You think its hot in here?" Philip asked her. Ember nodded her head. "Okay, im gunna leave this door open. Be good while Aaron and I are gone." Philip said as he opened the door and kissed Embers forehead. Ember smiled adn conutied to color again. "Michaels out." Aaron said laughing as he looked at Michael. "Hey Ember, you should color daddys face." Philip said pointing at Michael. Ember shook her head no. "Fine then." Philip said as him and Aaron left to the bar. Ember conuited to color.

"That taco was good." Courtney said as we left taco bell. "Poor Philip, he loves Dorito Tacos." Dj said laughing. "I would know." Ben said as he rubbed his belly. "I bet Michaels hungary." I said laughing. "Yeah, watching a baby for almost four hours takes alot out of you." Dj said shaking his head. "Yeah, you all pass out." I said pushing Dj. "Bad Dj." Brandy said pointing at Dj and laughed. "Hush." Cynthia said glaring at Brandy and laughing. "Children." Courtney said. "Yes mother?" Ben is smartly. Courtney glared at Ben. "Mommy! Dont be mad at me!" Ben said in a whinny voice laughing. "You sound like Ember." Cynthia said laughing as well. "Hey now." I said laughing as well. "Or Michael." Cynthia said still laughing. "Nice one." Dj said laughing too. "Is it everyone laugh day?" Brandy said looking at everyone. "I think so. But whenever Bens around, its always laugh day." Courtney said still laughing.

After the laugh fest, we finaly came back to the venu. "So many fucking buses." Dj said as we walked down the line of parked buses. Only half of the bands were here, but thats still alot. "If you find the AA bus, we will find the VE bus." Brandy said. "Yeah, anyone can spot the AA bus." I said laughing. "Be jealouse of our creativity." Ben said proudly. "Its has green in it. I like it." Courtney said complaminting Ben. "Thank you." Ben said to her. "I found it!" Cynthia said point to the AA bus. "And theres our bus." Dj said looking at the bus next to it. "Why is the door open?" I asked confussed. "Theres no telling." Cynthia said as we reached the bus. "Michael?" I said as we walked onto the bus. Michael was asleep. "Michael wake up!" Cynthia yelled. "Im awake!" Michael said jumping up. "Whys the door open?" Dj asked him. "I have no clue. It was closed when I went to sleep." Michael said rubbing his eyes. "Why was you asleep?" You should have been watching Ember." I said to him as I sat the food I brought on the table. "Speaking of Ember, where is she?" Cynthia asked looking around for her. "She was coloring." Michael said pointing to her coloring books in the floor by the door. "I see that, but where is she?" I said lookin at Michael serious. Michaels eyes got wide. "I dont know." Michael siad worried.
