Chapter thirteen

"You awake?" I said walking into the livingroom after Michael had fallen asleep. "Yeah. Why?" Courtney asked confussed. "Did Cynthia not tell you?" I said confussed. "Tell me what?" Courteny asked looking at me funny. "Were leaving." Brandy said walking out of her and Cynthia and Djs room with Cynthia coming out behind her. "Your really leaving?" Courtney said looking at me. "Yeah, their coming with me. Are you?" I asked her. "Why not. But you leave Dj?" Courtney asked Cynthia. "Im still going to be with him, he understands whats going on." Cynthia said as she helped me with Embers things. "Where are we going?" Courteny said as she got her things and helped put things in the car. "My parents vaction house." Brandy said as she put Ember in her car seat. "Really? Wheres that at?" Courtney said getting into the car. "Just on the other side of town." Brandy said getting in the front. "Good. No where near Michael." Cynthia said looking back at Michaels house as we drove off.

We arrived at Brandys partents vaction house about twenty mintues later. "Home sweet home." Brandy said as we got out of the car and went inside. "Wow, this looks amazing." Courtney said looking around the house. "Wait, what are we going to do about a baby bed?" Cynthia said lookign at me as she carried Embers carseat inside. "We actually have one upstairs from my little brother." Brandy said as she went upstairs to get it. "This is going to work." Cynthia said smiling. "It is. 3 bedrooms." Courtney looking at the rooms. "Two each room and Ember has her own." I said looking at the rooms as well. "Here we go." Brandy said as she came down stairs with the crib. "Sweet." I said as we set it up in one of the room. "Nice." Cynthia said as I put Ember in the crib. "Im so tired." Coutrney said as we all went into one of the rooms. "Its almost six o'clock." I said looking at my phone. "Deffently time to sleep." Courtney said as he got up and went into the other room. "Yeah bed time." Brandy said laughing as she followed Courtney. "Looks like we get this room." Cynthia said laughing as she laid on one of the beds. "Yeah. I like this room, but I like Michaels room better." I said looking at the walls. "Cyndy. Dont think about him and dont let him get to you. You did the right thing." Cynthia said looking at me. "I guess. How could he do that? The day his daughter was born. Its sad." I said looking up at the celing. "I know it makes me mad." Cynthia said. "I was starting to love him." I said as I felt like crying. "I know, I could tell. Im sorry, but you got us." Cynthia said smiling. "You right." I said smiling. "Now lets get some rest." Cynthia said as she fell asleep.

The next morning I was still sleeping, everyone else was awake and watching Ember. My phone started to ring. "You hear that?" Cynthia said looking at Brandy. "Its Cyndys phone, so what?" Brandy said playing with Ember. "No, thats her ringtone for when Michael calls." Cynthia said. The both got up and ran into my room, which woke me up. "You dont hear your phone ringing.?" Brandy said looking at me. "I do now." I said as I picked it up. "Dont answer it!" Cynthia yelled. "Its Michael." I said in shock. "Give." Brandy said as she handed Ember to Cynthia and took my phone. "What?" Brandy said answering my phone and putting it on speaker phone. "Where is Cyndy?" Michael said worried and in a strong tone. "Not with you anymore." Brandy said hateful. "I want to know were my daughter is." Michael said on the edge of tears. "To bad, you came home drunk, held your daughter after Cyndy told you not to, then hit Cyndy. She left your ass and your never seeing either of them again." Bradny said smart. "Your not going to stop me." Michael said in anger. "Watch and see, you have no idea where we are." Brandy said as she hung up the phone. "Wow, nice." Cynthia said laughing. "Thank you thank you." Brandy said laughing as well. I laughed as Cynthia handed me Ember. My phone started to ring again. "Son of a bitch. Hes not going to stop calling." Brandy said ignoring the call. "We have to change your number." Cynthia said as we walked into the livingroom. "Alright." I said as I changed Ember. "To the car!" Courtney said laughing as she ran to the car. "Dork." I said following her.

After we changed our number, we came home and just sat in the livingroom to straighting things out. "So whats going to happen?" Courtney asked me. "Well two of us have to get jobs." I said looking at her. "Alright." Coutreny said shaking her head. "Wait, how are you and Dj still going to see eachother without Michael finding out where we at?" I said looking at Cynthia. "Well he has desided to lie to Michael about us. Tell him I didnt tell him where we are, and that we broke up. But were going to sneak around. Go places Michael would never go, him come over here without Michael knowing." Cynthia said looking at the floor. "Well, at lest you worked things out." Courteny said looking at her. "Well, I love you all and your great for this." I said smiling at everyone. "Lets all do somthing." Brandy said getting up and looking around. "Like what?" I said looking at her. "Baby shopping!" Brandy said exited. "Alright, lets do this!" Courtney said exited as well. "You all are crazy." I said as we went to the car.
