I finished pulling my hair back and slowed my pace, waiting for Minho to catch up to me. As soon as he's by my side I give him a grin, walking down the steps.
We reach the front door and rush out, realizing that training starts in just a few minutes. We run across the front lawn before turning towards the training facility, or gym, because no one want to call it that.
As soon as we make it through the gym doors, all eyes turn towards us, including Bo, our trainers. And let me tell you, she was not very lenient, but that was what I wanted.
"Your late," she deadpans.
"Yeah, sorry, I was abducted by aliens and they took me to the mothership, but when I got there, they thought I was too ugly to keep around, so I'm back now. Sorry about that, I should have told them to be a litter faster with judging my looks," I explain with a straight face.
Some of the trainees let out small laughs, but Bo just sighed, pinching the bridge of her nose in frustration, though I could see the hint of a smile on her lips.
"Just...everyone go start your 100 laps,' she says, looking up and giving me a pointed look.
I just shrug and move towards the outside track, waiting for Minho. He comes up beside me and we start off at a jog. One thing that bothered me, was that Minho was faster than me, much faster. I was the best fighter, but he was definitely the best runner.
I looked over at him out of the corner of my eye, taking in his tall muscular frame. He may be Asian, but he was hella hot! He had spiked black hair that matched his gorgeous eyes that seemed to notice every little thing. His skin was clear and gorgeously tan, making his muscular body seem even more defined.
I often saw girls, and in some cases guys, ogling him when we went to the nearby city. They knew we existed and the nearby city was one of the smaller cities that didn't mind us. They made each werewolf get a brand to identify us by. It was a government and a worldwide law.
I hated the ugly black brand on the back of my neck. They claimed it was so humans knew who they were associating themselves with, but it also put a target on our heads and made us easier to pick off.
Attacks haven't been too much of a problem lately, but many humans still thought of us as evil, vicious animals, but some also thought of us as equals, or even superiors in some cases, and treated us normally.
I snapped out of my thoughts as I heard my name being called. I looked around while I was running, noticing Kai standing in the center of the gym with Bo, Max, and a little boy.
"Kai!" I cried, sprinting off the track and towards my brother.
It had been a few months since I last saw them, now that I was living here. Don't get me wrong, I loved living with Minho, but ever since my father died, my mother went into depression, leaving Kai to be my actual parent.
I pull him into a hug, before giving Max a quick, I look down at my nephew and smile at him, making him burry his face into Max's leg. He was only six, but come on, I was his aunt! I pout down at him and open my mouth to say some witty insult at the snob, but Kai slaps a hand over my mouth, muffling my voice.
"No need to use that wonderful sarcasm and sass with a sic year old," Kai deadpans.
"Alright, you can meet up with your family later, get back to running Ava," Bo orders.
"Yes Ma'am," I mock salute her with a smirk before running back to join Minho on the run.
He smiled at me as I came up beside him, then took off down the track at a full on sprint. He was nearly flying off the track. I glared at him as he moved around the track. He was even holding back now. No matter how much I trained, I could never even come close to his speed.
But I still loved my fluffy little panda!

As soon as practice is over, and we are all dying of exhaustion, even me, Minho and I stumble into the house, leaning onto each other as we make our way upstairs.
Today had been brutal, we had to work on our take downs, which I was excellent at, but when you willingly let someone else through you over and over, well, it starts to take its toll on you.
"Hey, Ava, Minho, get dressed. You and Adam are going into the city to have some fun. You haven't been in a while, so get ready for some clubbing," Tommy winks from the doorway by the kitchen. "And no Ava, you cannot knock out the bouncer again to get in this time. I already bribed him when I went in earlier and got you kids some fake ID's," he chuckle, tossing us two cards.
I snatch them out of the air tiredly and hand Minho his with a sigh. What if we just wanted to stay here? But to be honest, I kind of did want to get out, even if Adam had to come with us.
I walk up the stairs, Minho trailing behind me. as we reach the top, his hand snakes out around my waist and pulls me to his chest, as he places a kiss on my neck.
"I'll see you in about an hour," he murmurs in my ear, before walking away.
I stare after him in shock. He cannot just do that to me! He kissed me and whispered sexily in my ear and now he was going to leave me1 Fine, two can play at this game.
I smirk as I walk towards my bedroom, already planning my clubbing outfit. This is going to be one hell of a night.
Minho would either be really mad or really in love—with me and my outfit, no one else!
I was hoping both would happen.
I couldn't keep the smirk off my face as I rummaged through my closet. This was going to be fun.
Game on!
