I'm falling through darkness and I can't tell which way is up and which way is down. Everything is a blur of black and my entire body is shivering.
Just as it seems I will never reach the bottom, I slam into a rock surface with am echoing thud. I let out a loud cry of pain as my body makes contact, my voice traveling into the darkness.
Where the hell am I?
Am I in Hell?
I mean I knew I would go here someday, but not this soon. Oh god! Minho! I left him. I lost my mate! tears fall down my cheeks as I remember every moment between us, every kiss, every joke, every fight, everything!
"You are not in Hell...you are in Other," a ghostly female voice says from in the darkness.
"The Other? What a crappy name," I mumble. "Wait a minute...who are you? And what is the Other?"
"It's a place where you go after death before you go to heaven or hell. I have something I need to share, but I had to bring you here."
"Will it get me back to Minho?" I ask hopefully.
"If you can complete what I am asking of you and you agree."
"Okay, what is it! I'll do anything! Just send me back to my mate!"
"Hold up, you don't even know what you are agreeing to," the voice says, coming from a green light as it comes towards me.
"I don't care. I would do anything for him!" I cry, desperate.
"What I am asking of you is not going to be fun. When you go back, you won't be a werewolf anymore. There are too many of you and I need to create another supernatural being to keep the balance," the green light says.
"What are you?" I ask, confused.
"I am Akando, the Goddess of all supernatural beings," she says, her voice dripping with self-importance.
"Look, that's great and all, but cut to the chase."
"When I am done with you, you will no longer be a werewolf, but a Vampire."
That's not the weirdest thing that has happened to me all day. I found out that Celine is basically Durza from Eragon. I died from her "Shade" powers, and then I fell into an endless black hole, that turned out to have an end, called Other. And now there is a glowing green ball of fire that's name is Akando and she is the Goddess of all supernatural beings and she wants to make a normal species.
Totally normal.
"A vamp-what?" I exclaim.
"A vampire. I must create a new species to keep balance between the supernatural. Vampires will be able to live forever, but their only food source will come from humans and their blood. They won't be able to reproduce, but you and Minho will be able to bear one child to start everything. Once Minho marks you, he too, will turn into a Vampire and it will start everything. The vampire's will keep the humans in check, while the werewolves keep the vampires in check, for a werewolf bite to a vampire is poisonous, and the witches will be scared of both your kinds. You see it keeps the balance," the green orb explains.
"Why did you offer this to me?"
"Because you are an exceptional fighter, and so is Minho, you two will breed a strong Vampire to sire the rest of the vampire population. It is necessary..."
"To keep the balance between supernatural beings, yata yata. How painful is this transition going to be for me?"
"You accept?" she asks shocked.
"Of course I'm going to accept. I am going to see my mate again, while I'm alive," I growl.
"But you will no longer be alive. You see for someone to turn into a vampire, they must have vampire blood in their system before they die. I am going to have to have you drink my blood before I kill you. Once your mate marks you, he will be changeable, but he may not want to be," she challenges raising an eyebrow.
"Then I won't make him!" I counter.
"But you will still need to start the vampire populations."
"Then I will force my vampire blood down a human's throat and then kill them! Give me the blood!" I growl, growing impatient.
"Alright, but in the beginning, I must warn you. You will have many urges to brink from others until they are dead. I will speak to you and help you control yourself, but most of it will come from you."
"Okay I can do this. Please, just send me back down to my mate," I beg.
"Come here, child," she says.
I practically sprint over to the glowing orb of fire as it transforms into a glowing green woman. I watch as she slits her wrist with her nail, then holds it up towards me. I push away my disgust, thinking of only Minho as I grip her arm and bring her wrist towards my lips.
I only let Minho enter my mind, His beautiful face and smile. His personality, and how much we love each other. I get rid of every other thought other than those including happy memories of my mate.
Then I start to drink.
