Today i'm 7 weeks Pregnant, and we have a scheduled appointment to go see a house we like.By we I mean Luke and I, Yknow, I still can't believe i've even had sex with him much less am having twins with him.When I got up this morning around 8am Luke had already made breakfast and brought me a plate in bed.Since we found out he's been doing that a lot, he reads to them too.Every night he'll either grab a book and sit at my stomach reading to them or he just sits there talking to them.They aren't even here yet and he's already a good dad.
After we ate we got dressed and drove over to the house we want.Luckily it's pretty close to Vee and Michael, I want to be able to see them as much as possible.When we got there we got out and met the realtor.She let us walk around the house and talk about it.
It was a three bedroom house, two master bedrooms one with his/her sinks in its bathroom, one smaller bedroom, two flights of stairs one to the back of the house one to the front.A living room, family room, kitchen, downstairs bathroom and a laundry room.The backyard had a 5'5 deep pool and tons of room for running plus a patio and some trees for shade.It was a deep red house with black accents and really long windows and lots of natural lighting.
I turned to luke "I love it"
"I love it too" He smiled and kissed me
I kissed back then turned to the realtor "We'll take it"
"Great! I'll get the papers for you to sign" She said and walked into the house to grab her briefcase
"It's perfect, luke" I said looking at the yard
"A perfect girl, with a perfect family for a perfect house" He said wrapping his arms around me and holding my stomach
I smiled
We signed for the house and a week later we got the keys and moved in, it took us another week and a half to get the entire house pretty much furnished except for the babies room.We started ordering things online and went out and got some Light grey and white paint.White for the babies furniture and grey for the walls, once we figure out the gender we're going to add other colors.
We started painting the babies rooms and I was on my tip-toes painting the upper part of a wall and I felt luke staring at me.
"You're staring" I said and laughed a little
"And you're short" He laughed pulling my hips to him
I screamed a little and put the paint brush down
"Well I can't get on a ladder, I don't wanna risk that" I said putting my hands on my tummy
"I'll help" He said and lifted me up
I screamed holding onto his arms and lifting my legs "OH MY GOD LUKE!" I laughed
He laughed and held me a little higher
"Put me down!" I yelled laughing
"Okay fineee" he said and stood me back up on the ground
I laughed and turned around kissing him "Now you paint, i'll make lunch" I said and walked past him smacking his butt through his pants
He laughed and started painting the room
I made Lunch and some iced tea, I brought it up to him and the room was already finished.
"Damn, you work fast" I said handing him the glass and a plate
"You think?" He pointed to my stomach
I hit his chest and laughed "Shush"
The doorbell rang "I'll get it" I said and walked downstairs opening the door
"Hello, Are you Ms.Taylor?" The guy at the door said
"Yes I am" I smiled
"We've got some packages" He said and pointed to the men wheeling huge boxes in the front yard
"Okay, just bring them in here" I said and moved away pointing into the living room
He smiled "Okay, Come on fellas!" he shouted at the other guys
"What is it?" Luke said walking down the stairs
"Packages, i'm guessing some baby stuff" I said
"You're having a baby? Congratulations" The guy said
"Thank you" I smiled and put my hand on my stomach then he winked at me
I crinkled my eyebrows and looked at Luke
Luke just quickly grabbed my waist and kissed me deeply
I kissed back then the mail guy walked outside and we pulled away
"The hell?" I said laughing a little
"He needed to know you have me" He said proudly
I laughed "You got jealous?" I said "I'm having your kids"
"I know but I wanted him to know they're mine" He frowned sarcastically
I smiles and kissed his cheek walking back upstairs and into our bedroom.I sat on the bed and got on my phone texting Vee.
After the Mail guys left Luke and I opened the boxes we got, one of them was the cradles and another a big play pen. We set up the white cardles on opposite sides of the room against the walls and folded the play pen beside one.
Later that night Luke and I were laying in bed talking about baby names.
"How about Dakota for one of the girl names?" I said
"Yes!" He shouted
"Kai for a boy?" He said and looked at me
"I love it" I smiled
"Ellie for another girl? We can call her El!" I said excitedly
"Yes, I love that!" He said and kissed me quickly
I kissed back
"Ricky if we have another boy?" He asked
"Yes, so we have 2 girls and 2 boys. If we have a girl and a boy we'll choose one of each" I said
"Okay" He smiled
"I'm happy we decided to keep them" I said softly and held my stomach
"Me too, But you need rest" He reached over and turned off our lamp and pulled me into his arms
We found the perfect home, for the perfect family.
