Lukes POV;
This morning Nova left the house to go shopping with Venus and she took the kids.It's only been about 15 minutes and I want them to come home.
I sighed and grabbed a coffee cup and poured coffee in it "What to do" I said before taking a sip
I walked into the living room and sat on the couch picking up my feet onto the ottoman.I grabbed the remote and flipped through netflix.Eventually I picked a movie and fell asleep in the middle of it.I woke up again around 12pm, when Nova was supposed to come home.I looked at the clock then furrowed my eyebrows.Usually if she finds me asleep she puts a blanket over me.I stood up and peeked into the empty kitchen expecting her to be there.Then walked over to the stairs and ran up quickly.
"Nova! are you home?" I shouted through the echoey house, when I got not response I started to worry.
I grabbed my phone and called her a couple times to no answer, then called michael.
"Hey dude" He said laughing
"Hey, is Nova at your place? she's still not home" I said worried
"No, Venus told me she decided to stay shopping a couple more minutes and texted her she was going home half an hour ago. Have you checked everywhere?" He started to get worried
"The stores are only ten minutes away.. and yeah I have, I checked every room and she's not here"
"We'll be over soon to help you figure this out" He said and the sound of keys rustled in the background
"Thanks. see you soon"
"See you"
I hung up and threw my phone on the couch and picked up my arms running my hands through my hair.I walked over to the cold cup of coffee I had on the side table beside the couch.I picked it up and walked into the kitchen putting it in the microwave for a minute to warm it up.
I took it out of the microwave and drank a bit before I heard a knock at the door.I walked over and opened it seeing Venus and Michael worried.
"Hey, thank you both so much for helping." I said
Venus walked past me and Michael hugged me "It's not a problem, I know how I'd feel if Venus ever went missing like that"
I hugged him back and after he walked in I shut the door "Did she say what road she was on or anything when she texted you Vee?"
"Yeah, it was the road we first got drunk on and she hoo- Nevermind.. It was blue bird, like 5 minutes from here" She said
"Should we go there and see if we can find her and the girls? We can take my truck"
"Yeah that's a good start" Michael said and we all headed out the door.We drove to the road and pulled over.We all got out and searched the ditches and looked around the road.
"Anything!?"Venus said from a distance
"Nope!" Michael and I shouted back
We met back at the truck and I started to get frustrated and hit my truck.
"Luke, calm down we'll find them" Michael put his hand on my shoulder
"it's my family. my kids and the love of my life, they're just gone"
"I'm upset too, she's my sister, I love her with everything i've got and remembering all of the shit we've done is so fucking hard to do without having a panic attack but if I can pull it together so we can find them then you can too." Venus said and put her hand on my back rubbing it
