Luke's pov

He kept making me blush during our date. It's not like he compliments me or something, but even the sound of his voice calling my name makes my cheeks flush red. I'm still blushing all the way home. But something bother me, when he left his phone on the table and went to the toilet, someone's calling him, named Alex.

"How's the date luke?" My mom asked, taking a seat beside me.

"It's gone well mom I guess." I smile to her, patting the table.

"You like him? it is obvious though." She chuckled a bit when she said that.

"He's nice mom." I can't help but smile.

"You know you're in love." My smile grows wider, but the thought of him doesn't feel the same, break my heart.

She left me and went to the kitchen, taking some water or something. While I'm being bored, scrolling on my phone.

"Why? waiting for him to text you first?" She teased her son like her bestfriend, but I'm not waiting for him to text me though. I know he's not interested in the first place.

"No mom, I actually wait for michael to call me." She frowned.

"Calum would be mad if he heard that." She took the remote, turning on the tv. Am I the only one who's in love? because I can't get him out of my head already, even I got that stupid butterflies in my stomach by the mention of his name.

"Whats your relationship with michael though? you two dating?" I spit the water while she's groaning.

"Mom, you know he's my bestfriend." I said, taking a sip of my water again right after.

"Really? bestfriend? but the way he looks at you tell me otherwise." She doesn't bother to look at me. Why she knows michael has feelings for me? is it mom's instinct?

"Luke, if you're in love with your besfriend, I can't force you to get married with someone you don't like." She's kinda upset, this makes me sad.

"Mom wait, no of course not. I don't have that kind of feeling for him and honestly I'm glad I met calum." She doesn't say anything, slipping to her bedroom right after I say that, but i can her she sighed in relief and grinned.
