(Trixie's PoV)
The Avengers and I starred at the beam of light until it was long gone.
"So, it's finally over," Steve said.
"Then why do I get the feeling this isn't the last time we'll be working together?" Natasha asked. We stood there in silence for a moment before Bruce asked me a question.
"So, Trixie what do you plan to do now?" he asked me. I honestly had no idea, I hadn't even thought about what I would do. I couldn't just keep running, at least not anymore. Does Furry even still want to lock me up sense by now he probably knows I helped the Avengers.
"I have no idea," I said honestly. We stood in silence for another minute as we all exchanged glances.
"We can figure that out later, but for now you could stay in Stark Tower," Tony said.
"Thanks," I said.
"Now who wants to go get some Swarma?" Tony asked, and the rest of us asked as we headed there. The food there was surprisingly good, but I hadn't had the tastiest food in a long time so of course I thought this was good. As we ate and talked I noticed the old building that haunted me. I quickly looked away hoping no one noticed me looking at that. As I thought of the building, I thought about what Loki had said to me, but I tried to drown out the thoughts.
"You know, you did pretty good out there," Steve told me.
"Thanks, so did all of you," I replied. We all glanced out at the city, some say we did good but it didn't exactly look like it. But it could've been worse. Everyone looked at different places through the window, and everyone's eyes constantly moved to look at all the damage. But my eyes were fixed on one old, broken building. You could barely even tell it had been touched sense it was already broken to begin with. I starred at it as the memories flashed through my head again. As they began I quickly took my eyes off of the building. Bruce noticed it, but he didn't say anything about it.
"Well, we should go check on the civilians and make sure everyone's ok. We'll meet back here in an hour," Steve said as we all stood up and left. As we walked out, everyone headed different ways, and I stayed to check this block. Everyone here was fine for the most part, so sense I had so much spare time I slowly approached the building. I hesitated before I walked in, but it was a much greater hesitation than last time. I knew what to expect so at least now I knew what to prepare for. As I stepped in a dark, and twisted feeling gripped me. I slowly made my way to the stairs. Most of the stairs were now broken, and impossible to walk up so I added a layer of thick ice to the steps. I walked up the icy steps and when I got to the hallway I stopped myself next to the place I got my scar. I didn't look at it, and I continued down the hallway. Before I got to the large open area, I took a deep breath, trying to get myself as calm as possible. I walked over and sat next to the blood stained area of the floor. I sat there and just starred out of the broken window. My brother and I stayed here a lot, it was like our own little hideaway. It was the only home I ever knew, but now it didn't feel like home. It felt like a prison filled with pain and guilt. I put my hand next to the blood stains. I cringed as my hand made contact with the floor. My hand still had a few cuts and scrapes from the battle and I had nothing else but bumps and bruises. The only thing that actually hurt really bad was my leg with the scar. It had began to ache a little from running, and fighting. I pulled the end of my jeans up a little and place my one hand on the scar. My hand faded blue and cool air hit the scar, causing some of the pain to fade. I pulled the end of my jeans down, and covered up the scar.
"I miss you Adam," I whispered to myself. "I wish I could see you again, just once so I could apologize. You meant the world to me, and I hope you know that you still are," I whispered again. "And I know I said I wasn't ready to let you go, but honestly no matter when you would've left, I still wouldn't have been ready," I whispered again. I clenched my hand into a fist as I thought of my brother. I continued to sit there, as I soon lost track of time.

I was back at the Swarma place, and I was ten minutes early but I had nothing better to do. Bruce walked in and he was done to.
"Shouldn't Trixie be here by now? She had to check this block so she probably got done fast," Bruce said.
"Good point, she should be somewhere around here. Hey did you see where that girl with blonde hair went?" I asked one of the workers.
"Oh she went around the block checking on people, and when she was done she went into that old building across the street," the worker said as she went back to cleaning.
"That old building? Why would anyone even go in there?" I asked.
"Well, there's only one way to know for sure," Bruce said. We both exchanged a glance, before heading over to the building. When we walked in I felt like I had just stepped into a horror movie. Inside there were ashes everywhere from a fire that must of have happened a long time ago. We walked in, and when we turned the first corner we both stopped. There was a tiny remains of a wall of ice that had been there. We looked at the wall next to it and there was a tiny handprint of blood. We both exchanged glances before continuing. As we got to the stairs, they were broken but they had a coat of ice over them. But the sheet of ice was completely intact which meant it had been made not to long ago.
"She's defiantly in here," Bruce said. As we walked up the steps we stopped at the top. There was a long hallway but at the beginning of it there was a long trickle of dried blood on the wall.
"Seriously, why did she come to a place this creepy?" I asked him. As we walked down the hallway, we stopped before we got completely out of it. We saw Trixie sitting in a big open room, sitting next to a pile of blood, and she looked pretty upset. "Trixie what are you doing?" I asked as we walked over to her. She turned her head quickly, not expecting us to come here.
"Why are you two here?" she asked.
"Answer my question first," I told her.
"I came to see if anyone was in here, and if there was, to make sure they were ok," she said.
"Are you sure that's the reason you came?" Bruce asked. She didn't answer.
"Well if you won't tell us why you're here, can you at least tell us what happened here?" I asked.
"Did you see the blood on the wall?" she asked, not making eye contact.
"Yeah," I said.
"Well....that....that was my blood," she said.
"Wait, what?" Bruce asked.
"The bloody handprint was made by me," she told us.
"What about the blood stain your sitting next to?" I asked. Trixie went silent, which made me guess it wasn't hers. Bruce walked over and sat next to her, and so did I.
"It...it was my...," she began but stopped herself.
"Trixie, why did you come here?" Bruce asked her in a calm tone.
"This is the last place I saw my....my brother before he...," she stopped speaking again but Bruce and I knew exactly what she was going to say.
"Before he, passed away?" I asked her. She just nodded and didn't say anything. We all sat there in silence until I finally stood up. "We should get back to the Swarma place, before the others,". Bruce and Trixie agreed as they stood up. When we got back, Clint and Natasha had just walked in, and Steve looked like he'd been there for a while.
"So are most people ok?" Steve asked.
"Yes," Clint said.
"I found one or tow seriously injured people, but besides that everyone was mostly fine," Natasha said.
"Everyone was fine on my end," I said.
"Same here," Bruce said.
"Same with me," Trixie said. You could barely even tell mere moments ago she was really upset. She was really good at hiding how she really felt, but she did have years of practice. We all headed back to Stark Tower and it had been fixed up a tiny bit. We went to the top floor, which looked like nothing had even happened and we sat on some couches. Everyone talked, but Trixie was silent the whole time. She wouldn't say a word to anyone.
