(Trixie's PoV)

The alarm clock went off around six a.m. I wanted to get up early so I would have a little bit of time before heading to New Mexico. As I got out of bed I brushed my hair, and put on some spare clothes Tony had given to me. I put on an AC/DC shirt, just because I've was locked up didn't mean I didn't know good music when I heard it, and then I put on some jeans. I knew it was going to be hot down there, but I was not wearing shorts. Then people would be able to see my scar, and I hated when people saw it because then they would start asking questions about it. When I was done I just sat on the bed, thinking about those creatures that attacked New York. I think Thor called them, the Chitauri. I thought about how every second you would hear a different scream, but then I quickly erased the images from my mid. My arms still hurt from the broken glass, and all the other fighting I had done. Then I started thinking about what Loki had said again. Did he mean it? Was he lying? Was he about to die right now, or was he just sitting in a cell? Not that he didn't deserve to be locked up for what he'd done, but still I couldn't stop thinking about it. Thirty minutes past and I heard a knock on the door. I opened it up and saw Natasha standing there.

"Ready to go?" she asked.

"Yeah," I said as I followed her over to the elevator. As we got to the bottom, we walked out of the lobby, and got into a SHIELD car. The drive to the airport took around twenty minutes sense there was so much damage. As the car drove down the road, I looked at all the destruction. When the car went past the old broken building I quickly looked away and Natasha noticed but didn't say anything. When we finally got to the airport we went and got on a private jet that belonged to SHIELD. It was a pretty nice but it was the only jet I had really been on, besides that jet I rode in when Loki took me from that helicarrier. I automatically forced myself to stop thinking about Loki and everything that had happened. The flight was long, boring, and silent. Every now and then Natasha would go to a different part of the jet to talk to someone in private, and I was left to just stare out of the window. Worst part of it that the sky was bare, there was nothing for miles. At least the last time I was in the air I had a helicarrier to stare at. No, stop thinking about that, just stop. After a few more hours Natasha came back in. We hadn't spoken to each other sense this morning, and I began to get nervous because I think the Avengers saw my eyes change color.

"So about last night, why did you run off?" Natasha asked. The question surprised me, just for the fact we hadn't spoken in hours.

"I just needed to clear my head," I told her. I had left trying to clear my head of the thoughts, but it hadn't really worked.

"Last night, I don't know if I was seeing things but it looked like your eyes had changed colors. Does that usually happen?" Natasha asked and I could tell by the way she asked she had been nervous about asking. I tensed up, and she noticed.

"Sometimes, but not often. Only when I get really upset," I said taking a deep breath. I tried to calm myself, before I got stressed out, and hopefully that would help. "So why does Thor want me to meet Jane?" I asked hoping that Natasha had some answers.

"Well, he said that he thinks you may not be a normal human," she said.

"I know that," I replied.

"What I mean is that he thinks one of your parents may had been from a different realm. Unless you got those powers from some lab accident, it is very likely one of your parents may be from another realm," Natasha said.

"I've had my powers sense I was born, so I guess it is possible," I told her.

"Jane has some knowledge of other realms that Thor has shared with her, and he thinks he knows the realm that one of your parents where born in," Natasha said.

"Did he say which realm?" I asked.

"No," Natasha said. I heard the jet prepare to land. I looked back out the window and saw the airport. After we got off the jet, we got into another SHIELD car and we headed to Jane's lab. After what felt like days of silent car ride we finally made it. They dropped me off in front of a decent sized building.

"I'll be at a SHIELD facility, but if you need me then just call," Natasha said as the driver of the car continued down the road. I starred at the door, before knocking on it. After a minute or two, the door opened and a woman with light brown hair opened the door.

"Are you Jane Foster?" I asked.

"Yeah, are you Trixie?" she asked. I nodded and she let me in. I looked around and there was science stuff everywhere.

"Is that Trixie?" I heard someone ask. I noticed that she was sitting at a table in a kitchen type area.

"Yes, it is. Trixie that's Darcy, my intern," Jane told me.

"Were you the kid with that ice stuff?" Darcy asked.

"Yes, I was," I told her.

"So why did you help those Avengers?" Darcy asked.

"Because if I didn't people would die, and we'd lose our freedom," I told her.

"Agent Romanoff told me on the phone a few hours ago that you had been locked up at SHIELD for no reason, why did they lock you up? And how did you get out to help them?" Jane asked. The memories of everything came rushing back but I shoved it aside to answer Jane's question.

"Well I'm not sure why they locked me up, I hadn't hurt or killed anyone but Furry locked me up anyway. While I was locked up on the helicarrier it was attacked, and sense I was unsupervised I had the chance to get out of there. I used my powers to break out of the cell, and then I was running trying to find some way to get off that thing. I ran into a few people and then eventually Loki dragged me along with him to New York whe-," I was cut off by Jane.

"Wait, Loki made you go along with him?" Jane asked.

"Basically," I said.

"What happened then?" Darcy asked.

"After a while the Avengers showed up and I had the chance to escape. When I did I fought off a few Chitauri, and I realized I had to help. Honestly most of the Avengers were surprised I actually helped but I still think I did a decent job," I told them.

"Wait, did Loki hurt you at all?" Jane asked and I heard a sense of worry in her voice.

"No," I said.

"Then how'd you get that?" Darcy asked pointing at my leg. I hadn't noticed my scar was showing.

"Oh, that? Umm I got that a long time ago," I said and Jane could tell I didn't really like talking about this subject.

"How long?" Darcy asked. Jane shot her a look.

"I got it when I was eight," I said and the memory came flashing back.

"Anyway, about your powers. How long have you had them?" Jane asked.

"I've had them sense I was born," I told her.

"Can you show us some?" Darcy said as she took a bite out of her sandwich. No one had really ever asked me to show them my powers, well no one besides Adam. I erased the thought from my mind again.

"Sure, what do you want me to do?" I asked.

"Can you freeze something? Maybe part of the floor?" Darcy asked after swallowing. I noticed how Jane actually looked interested in seeing my power, she actually looked excited. Excited, just like Adam was when I would show him. Ugh, stop thinking about it. I took a deep breath as I felt the ice form around the floor beneath my feet.

"That...is amazing!" Jane said as she starred at the patch of ice.

"Can you make it cool in here? It's been soooo hot here!" Darcy begged as she stood up and walked over. I hadn't made it get cold in a while, well not intentionally in a while. I took another breath as the temperature in the room dropped. "That feels so good," Darcy said and Jane and I laughed.
