(Tony's PoV)
I sat next to Trixie, as she read the letter. She starred at the paper even though we all knew she was done reading it. No one asked her if she was ok, because we all knew what that would lead to. Steve put a hand on Trixie's shoulder and this time she didn't push it off. She just starred at the letter, and she seemed to reread the last part of the letter again. Everyone noticed that she read that part over and over. After a few more minutes she stood up, and headed toward the elevator. As we listened to the elevator, it only went down by one floor, so we knew she had headed to the room she stayed in. We all sat there in silence until Steve broke it.
"What do you think it said?" he asked.
"Honestly, I'm not sure if I want to know," Bruce replied.
"It probably had to do with her brother," Natasha said.
"And her powers," Clint added. After a few more moments of silence most of them left. Bruce was still there, but as he got ready to leave I asked him a question.
"Do you think we shouldn't have let her read it?" I asked.
"She'd probably be more upset if she found out we hadn't," Bruce said and I nodded in agreement as Bruce walked over to the elevator.

I stayed in my room the rest of the night. I didn't sleep, no matter how hard I tried. I reread the letter time and time again. I laid in the bed as I tried to fall asleep more. I closed my eyes, but all I saw where flashes and snippets of terrible memories. I wasn't going to sleep tonight, but it was nothing new. I was used to sleepless nights.

(Loki's PoV)
Some terrible things had happened. My mother had been killed by dark elves, but now I was on my way to get revenge. But the only cost was that I had to help Thor get out of Asgard. This had all happened because an ancient evil, or the Aether, was inside some human friend of Thor's. But at least I was out of that cell, and at least I would get revenge.

Hours passed, and we had finally found Malekith and after tricking him we fought his beast. But things did not go as planned. The beast was about to kill me, but Loki shoved a sword straight through the beasts chest. Then the beast turned towards Loki, and before anyone could do anything, the beast grabbed Loki and rammed him into part of the sword as well. The beast pushed him off as I rushed over to him. Jane merely stood a few feet away and watched in horror.

(Trixie's PoV)
I was sitting in that Shwarma place with the Avengers. Things had been going well. I had shown them the letter the day after I read it, and I had gotten my own phone (which I played the song "Terrible Things" all the time). The phone rang and I picked it up.
"Be right back," I said as I stood up and walked outside the restaurant. "Hello, this is Trixie," I said.
"Trixie, it's Jane," she said, but there was something strange in her tone. It sounded as if she was upset about something but tried to hide it.
"Oh hey Jane. Did you enjoy Europe?" I asked her. I hadn't talked to Jane sense I was back at New Mexico, and I probably would've been happier to talk to her if she didn't seem so upset.
"Trixie, look I have something I need to tell you," Jane said as her tone got very serious.
"What is it?" I asked.
"I'm not sure how to tell you this but..," she began but stopped herself.
"Jane, what happened?" I asked as a hint of fear showed in my voice. I noticed the Avengers where now outside, after realizing this phone call was not a good one.
"Well, when I was in Europe some things happened and Thor took me to Asgard because I had something evil, called the Aether inside me. While we were there we got help from Loki to find the one who wanted to kill me for the Aether," Jane said.
"W-Where are you going with this?" I asked as my voice just barely cracked.
"Thor wanted me to tell you that.....that Loki is dead, and Loki had said to tell you that what he told you in New York was the truth," Jane said. I nearly dropped the phone, I held on to it making sure it wouldn't drop, and the Avengers noticed. "Trixie? Are you still there?" I just barely heard Jane asked. Tears streamed down my face as I quickly ran off.
"Trixie, wait!" I heard Steve yell, but I was already long gone. My vision was blurred, and I could barely see a thing, but I knew where I was. I had traveled down each street so much and I knew it like the back of my hand. I ran on and on, hoping that the Avengers weren't close behind. I took the long route to the old building where I lost Adam. But it wasn't just the place were I lost him, it was also the place were I first showed him my powers. As I ran in I quickly made the thickest wall of ice possible, over the door. I ran upstairs, and when I got to the blood stain on the floor I fell to my knees as the tears continued to flow. The floor around me froze over, and my skin turned blue in a split second. I had begun crying so much, that it began to hurt. The pain surged through as I thought of everything. That terrible night, that letter, and now the phone call I just got. The pain continued to flow and I didn't know how to stop it. I heard banging on the door downstairs, and I knew the Avengers where trying to get in. I wouldn't let them in. I was never going to let someone in again. Dad might have said it was worth it, but its not worth it if I didn't have a chance to say goodbye. The love will never be worth it. Maybe to someone else, but not to me. I didn't want to lose anymore people I cared about, but the only way to do that was to not care about anyone else. The banging on the door grew louder, and I made the ice thicker. I then noticed that the letter had fallen out of my pocket. I starred at it, before slowly picking it up, and began to read it.
(Jane's PoV)
I sat there as everything was silent. I didn't hear Trixie, and then the call ended. I sat there wishing I could take what I just said back. I didn't know what Loki had been talking about when he told us to tell Trixie that, but obviously he must've cared about her, and she cared about him.
"Trixie?" I said again even though I knew I wasn't going to get an answer. Thor, Darcy, and Eric where all in the other room waiting for me, but this had taken longer than I thought. I heard a knock on the door, and a second later Thor walked in.
"I assume she did not take this news well?" Thor asked.
"No, she didn't after I told her what happened she stopped talking," I said with a sigh. He hugged me trying to make me feel better and it worked a little bit.
"Should we go see her?" Thor asked.
"Maybe," I told him, and after that we walked back out to the room were Darcy and Eric were.
"So...is she ok?" Darcy asked.
"No," I told her. "I think I should go talk to her," I said to them all and no one objected. I hoped that Trixie was ok, even though I knew she wasn't. I wondered what would happen. She said when she had panic attacks sometimes she lost control of her powers, so what if she got upset enough? Would she hurt someone? Would she hurt herself? Would she even let me talk to her if I tried? Would she let anyone talk to her? I really hoped she would let us talk to her, or at least tell us what Loki had said to her.
