Their date was going to start at 9:00 that night and Tyler already had it all planned out. They were going to go to a nice restaurant, then he was going to take josh to the all year carnival that came in spring and left in winter. To be honest they could go everyday considering it was only the middle of spring.
Tyler warned josh not to put on anything to nice or it would get ruined in the second part of their date. Tyler threw on blue jeans and a blue T-shirt in the comfort of the empty room. He was nervous that he would do something dumb and josh wouldn't like him as much as he did him. The clean, pearly white walls seemed to close to him, was it just his imagination or was the room shrinking? He shook his head and told himself everything was fine. It was and would be okay.
"You ready?" Josh called through the door. Tyler looked into the body mirror and turned every which way, "yeah." They both walked to the white car, Tyler driving with a calm look on his face even though he was everything but calm.
He parked in front of the restaurant called "symphony" and opened the door for josh. "Thank you, Mr. Joseph."
"You're welcome, Mr. Dun."
They walked in and waited for the waiter to show them to the table. Tyler nervously twiddled his fingers together. He really had to fix that habit, he hated how every time something happened he sat there messing with his fingers.
They got a perfect seat, one right by a window with the view of the dark city. "Can I get you anything to drink?" The waiter asked. "Yeah just some coca-cola for me." Josh said.
"I want...uhm. Mtn. Dew." Tyler answered wearily. The waiter nodded writing stuff down. Tyler looked down, he should've asked for wine or something. Pop wasn't exactly something to get during a fancy restaurant date.
When the waiter came back they both got steaks as it was something they were both craving for awhile.
"Tyler?" Josh looked up from the table. "Yeah?" Tyler looked into josh's eyes. "Uhm thanks for taking me here. I haven't been to a restaurant since I was six." Josh's eyes had a sad look in his eyes. "You're welcome. But what do you mean since you were six? Didn't your parents take you places?" Tyler knew it wasn't his place to ask considering all his mother did to him, but Tyler had a father who used to visit every week and take him everywhere.
"Uh uhm...no. No they didn't." Josh looked down at his almost empty plate.
"I'm sorry. Well uhm, now you have me to take you places."
"That's sweet Ty, but its not the same since you're not my dad."
"Not yet," Tyler said with a wink as he stood up, motioning for them to leave. Josh sat up and laughed. What a kinky person. Tyler hoped josh knew he was only joking.

Later that evening;

They were just leaving the carnival at two in the morning. They spent the whole night there playing games, riding rides, and eating greasy yet delicious food.
"Ty, thank you so much for tonight. Can we do it again sometime?" Josh asked opening the car door for Tyler. "I would love to." And with that they drove home listening to the now starting rain drumming on the car windows.

A/n im sorry for making their relationship move to fast, its just I just finished bad boys don't smile, and writing about love is the only thing that makes me feel a tiny bit better (꒦໊ྀʚ꒦໊ི )
