The next day Tyler walked out of his boringly empty room. It was going to be a long day, his head and stomach hurt probably from loud carnival noises and greasy, heavy food. He went to the kitchen and found a note on the clear marble counter.
Ty,
I went grocery shopping. DO NOT MAKE PLANS FOR TONIGHT PLEASE. anyways Ill be back at around 8:00 so try to keep yourself busy until then.
I know there isn't much to do but there is tv and you can borrow my charger for your computer since I know you don't have yours.
The internet password is 555223D.
that's all. xoxo
-JoshTyler smiled at the "xoxo" part. He knew that it meant hugs and kisses. He blushed a little at the thought and wondered why he couldn't make plans for tonight. Its not like he planned on going anywhere anyways.
He checked the time, and it was only 7:26. He wanted breakfast. Maybe he could make pancakes for the both of them. He looked in the cabinets and fridge and sure enough there was enough of everything to make at least four medium sized pancakes.
He put everything together in a mixing bowl and whisked it together so that there was no clumps left in the batter.
He then poured it into circular shapes on a frying pan and waited for the bottom to cook before flipping it to the other side.
Soon the pancakes were done and the time read only 7:39. He had time. So he quickly made two sunny side up eggs and poured orange juice into medium sized, glass cups. He added lots of butter and syrup the pancakes that he had put on two plates. After that he put the eggs onto the plate and added salt and pepper.
As soon as the table was set Tyler was washing the pan and mixing bowl, josh turned the cold, brass knob walking in holding a couple bags behind his back.
"Ty, hon. Go to your room these groceries are a surprise." Josh said sweetly.
Tyler nodded. Did josh just call him 'hon?' He smiled to himself and sat on his bed.
He heard josh call from the kitchen, "you can come out now!" When Tyler walked to the dining room he found josh sitting at the table smiling widely. He stood up and hugged tyler, to which his great surprise Tyler hugged back tightly not wanting to let go of Josh's warm, comforting grip.
"I should have you make breakfast everyday. I usually just have soggy cereal. Thank you so much, Tyty."
He smiled at the new pet name josh just called him, "you're welcome. Now sit down and eat, you look hungry."
They both sat down and started digging in, Tyler occasionally getting compliments from Josh about how the pancakes were cooked just right or how the eggs were the best he's ever had.
Tyler hoped every morning could be like this and he hoped he could cook for josh more often.
Sitting over a stove was worth seeing Josh's happy, never ending smile.A/n this is just a fill in chapter because I haven't been writing lately and I'm getting the hang of it.
I know its not that good and its pretty short like all the other chapters but I can try to make the next one better.
How's everyone's day going?
