Chapter 18

                  Peter’s POV

The ball was packed with people, I had lost sign of Sasha some time ago, actually when she left for the little ladies room. But I assume she’s dancing her feet off now. I spot Christian I think it’s him, the guy she has been kind of seeing lately or were they not dating anymore? I’m not quite sure on what’s up between the two of them. I move a little closer to get a better view. Wow, it is he. He’s in a corner making out with a brunette; I take up my phone to take a picture, this I had to show Sasha. She needed prof that this guy was a player, I know she hold her ground when it came to him because she was unsure of his motives. But here he is showing his true colors in public, kissing someone else when he came here with her. So I snap a couple of pictures to show her.

“What are you doing?” I hear Brian ask me from behind, he must have followed me.

“I’m looking out for my sister.” I answer him and points towards Christian and the girl. “Wow, what a dirt bag! Do you want me to kick his ass?” Brian asks me and I can see he’s eager to do just that.

“No, he’ll never get near her again after I show her the pictures I’ve taken, she’ll give him hell if he tries!” I answer with confidence because I know Sasha.

“Yeah I guess you’re right, poor guy.” Brian laughs and shakes his head.

“I’ve seen you’ve been dancing a lot with Cecile, something going on?” I ask Brian and give him a teasing smile.

“No, no we’re just friends you know,” he answers a bit to fast for sounding sincere.

“Sure!” I reply with a slightly teasing voice, but keep my thoughts for my self.

“Wasn’t Aziz supposed to come tonight? I haven’t seen him, have you seen him?” Brian asks and looks over the crowed dance floor, I can see his eyes are following Cecile that is dancing with her father again.

“Yeah, I talked to him earlier when he came with his father, his father is over there talking to my dad.” I point towards the tables with refreshments where they are standing “but I haven’t seen him since then.”

“Shall we take a tour and see if we find him, I’ve not seen him since the last time at your place? He’s a cool guy and I assume he needs rescuing from the ladies!” Brian states with a happy grin.

“Yeah, lets do that and maybe we can manage to locate Sasha as well,” I put in as we start to walk around the edge of the dance floor.

When we had gotten halfway around the dance floor my phone vibrated in my pocket. I had gotten a message from Sasha saying she had gone home. It didn’t sit well with me, she leaving without saying goodbye. And she had seemed in perfect shape earlier and she was the one that had eagerly wanted all of us to go out on a club in an hour’s time. All of us meaning: Me, Sasha, Aurora, Brian, Cecile, Christian and Aziz. We had agreed on meeting up in the foyer at midnight. Maybe she had seen Christian’s behavior and it hit her harder than I had imagined.

I stopped Brian in his tracks and told him I was going out in the foyer to try to call Sasha. “Why do you need to call her, we’ll find her soon anyway?” Brian say. I show him the message on my phone and he turns around and starts to lead the way past the sea of people towards the entrance.

When we enter the quietness’ of the foyer I dial Sasha’s number, but the phone just keeps on ringing, I try again and again, but she doesn’t pick up her phone.

I look at Brian and he understands my next move as he tells me he’ll notify everybody that I’ve gone home and that he’ll call me later and tell me what club they will go to so I can join them there.

When I enter my apartment the first ting I notice is her cloths all over the floor. I hear muffled cries from Sasha’s bedroom. I run to her room and her slender figure is lying curled up in the bed shaking in snobs. I sit down on her bedside and ask her what’s wrong. She speaks down in her pillow and I have no idea what she is saying. So I try again “Sasha what’s wrong, can you please tell me?” I worriedly ask her.

“I’m a slut!” she says and cries even harder.

I can’t believe my own ears, what is she saying. “What do you mean Sasha? You’re not a slut, fare from it.” I try to comfort her and feel utterly confused. This is so out of character. And I have a feeling this has noting to do with Christian, but I have to ask her to be sure “Has this anything to do with Christian?” I wonder and then she just starts to cry even harder if that’s possible. “Has he hurt you in anyway?” I ask with alarm, oh I’m so going to kill him if he has, “No, it’s has nothing to do with Chris! But he’s an ass too!” she gets out between sobs. “But then what is it?” I probe her.

“He is married!” she scream and turn to look at me “He’s fucking married, shit!” she continues to swear and hide her head in my lap.

She really doesn’t make any sense at all. “How is married?” I wonder as I pat her hair to try to calm her down, she acts on the verge of hysteria.

“The devil!” she answers down in my lap

“The devil is married! Sasha what are you on about?” I ask her in disbelieve.

“I don’t know his name, okay! He captivated me without saying a word and I let him, and I was so mesmerized that I didn’t even notice his wedding ring!” she cries and I really don’t know what to say. Had she made out with a married man? But why all this drama. Maybe it’s someone she had been dating without me knowing it; it could be possible because I had been so caught up in John lately. I don’t know what to say so I just keep on stroking her hair and she must have been exhausted because she soon falls asleep.

I tuck her in and desert her bedroom, and I don’t have the heart to leave her alone tonight. I’ve never seen her like this before it honestly scares me.

My phone is ringing, its Brian. “Hey man what’s up?” I answer and try to sound normal because I don’t want to explain the situation with Sasha to him. “Peter, we have a situation her with Aziz!” Brain tells me with concern in his voice.

“What do you mean?” I ask him and feel like I’ve had my fare share of drama tonight. If Aziz is drunk Brain can deal with that.

“He’s crying and looks like shit! And I don’t know what to do with him, I’m not good at this type of stuff!” Brian’s voice is really panting and I can see him in my head freaking out.

“Is Cecile there with you guys?” I ask him

“Yeah, but he doesn’t want her or Aurora to comfort him and he’s really in bad shape!” Brian stresses on. “He talks nonsense about a lot of weird stuff like shrinks and something about his father shouldn’t see him like this. He’s not even dressed properly. He is crying, I can’t see a guy cry, you know that!” Brain rushes out and he seems totally stressed.

“Calm down Brian! Sasha is not feeling well and I don’t want to leave her, but if I can be to any help you guys can come over here.” I tell Brian and hope they can sort it out them self without me.

“But what about Sasha if she’s not feeling well, is it okay for her that we shows up?” Brian asks concerned, but I can hear in his voice he’s about to freak out too.

“She’s a sleep, so it would not be a problem. Just don’t make to much of a noise on your way in,” I reassure him, as I understand that they don’t know what to do and I’m the one that knows Aziz better than any of them. I hope he’s not just totally drunk, then I’m going to kick Brains ass when they shows up. “Okay, See you!” Brian finishes in a hurry and disconnects the call.
