"I'm thinking something light, but this is a party so maybe I should be totally out there," I couldn't take Hayden stressing so I left her room and did my own hair and makeup before I did hers. I winged my eyeliner and left my lips bare, sighing, content with my appearance, I walked back to Hayden's room.
"Shut up, I know what to do," I held my hand up before she could say anything. Her makeup was light but of course, I added glitter in the inner corner of her eyes. I flat ironed her hair and braided it loosely. She squealed at her appearance before shooing me out of her room to get changed, I did the same once I got into my own bedroom. I slipped on my dress and tied the bottom tightly before slipping my shoes on and grabbing my clutch. "Hayden! Let's go!" As if on cue, she walked out of her room and letting out a heavy breath.
"Let's go."
From: Niall :-)
Can't wait to see you, love x ;)

"Where is it?" I asked, turning down the road with fraternity houses lined next to each other. I drove slow.
"Stop!" Hayden screamed causing my foot to slam on the breaks in a panic, "It's right there," she said much calmer. I rolled my eyes and pulled into a spot on the other side of the road, fearful that somebody could hit my precious baby. The house was huge and packed. I was nearly shaking, my knees grew weak and I was scared. Scared to go inside, nervous to see Niall. Hayden soothed me and before I knew it, we were at the front door, the vibrations of the bass filled my body.
"I'm gonna go find Harry, text me if you need anything," Hayden did her best to yell over the speakers and soon disappeared into the sweaty crowd. I began to move, trying to stay on the edge of the dancing crowd. I walked through different hallways before I lost my footing, I almost fell before two arms pulled me up gently.
"You're the clumsiest person I know, Adelaide Rose," The familiar Irish voice chuckled. I rolled my eyes and nudged him gently, my heart beating a thousand miles a second. He was dressed in black skinny jeans, a white t-shirt, and a light wash jean vest with white Supras. He looked very good, if I may add. He pulled me into a short, strong hug, "It's so good to see you, Ads."
"Yeah, well I didn't have much of a choice if I wanted to come or not," I mumbled after he let me go, I was sure he could hear my heart beating.
"Niall! Who is the lady?" The boy, who looked a lot like Zayn but brighter eyes asked Niall.
"Xander! My man, this is my friend, Adelaide," Niall took a step away from me. The mystery boy, who I learned is called Xander, held his hand out for me to shake which I shyly took. I was fighting back the pain that was left in my chest when Niall introduced me as his friend. I didn't think he was the type to go around kissing his friends. I guess I should've seen it, Niall is a very pretty boy who could get away with murder with those eyes of his. I turned my head briefly but he was gone like he was never even here.
"So, Adelaide," Xander took a step closer to me and wrapped an arm around my waist. It was in that moment I could smell the booze off his body, mixed with an overpowering cologne.
"Okay, Mister Touchy, I'm not interested," I shoved him away but he just couldn't take a hint so, remembering everything I learned from my little brother's self-defense classes, I brought my knee up to his groin and he let out a yelp in pain, "I said I wasn't interested."
I walked away, tears brimming my eyes but it wasn't because I just had to physically hurt someone into taking a hint it was because Niall really called me his friend.
HAYDEN'S POV
"Yeah, mate," I listened to Harry talk, he kept an arm around me. Occasionally looking down to smile at me. I haven't seen or heard from Adelaide since I got here and I don't know if that's a good thing.
