3-Skipping

*Elaine's POV*
Im so mad at myself, for giving in, to what I want, never again.

I woke up to my alarm going off, I checked my phone and saw that it was 6am. I get up and go to my bags of new clothes that I didn't put away last night. I pull out a pair of light blue ripped American Eagle skinny jeans and a white Issues tee shirt. I threw on the clothes and plugged my straightener in, setting it on the floor next to my mirror. I grab my makeup bag and throw on some foundation, next I contour, throw on some light eyeshadow and finally some mascara. I usually don't put this much effort into my makeup but it's the first day so I guess I should try. By now my straightener is hot enough so I start straightening my hair which only takes about 10 minutes and then I put on my white converse. I get out my phone and see that's its 7 now, time to wake up Blair.

"Blairrrrr" I yell, jumping on the bed.
"Whattt" she yells back, rolling over and covering her head with a pillow.
"Okay bitch, be late on your first day" I say as I go to the full body mirror we have and take a quick snap of my outfit. I write 'Streaks//1st Day😛' and I send it to all my streaks.

Blair got up about 5 minutes ago and I'm sitting in the living room watching Friends while I'm waiting. About one minutes later she walks out completely ready to go.
"Holy butt Blair, 7 minutes? I think that's a new record" I laugh and stand up grabbing the keys.
"Yeah well you know how much I enjoy sleep." she shrugs
I laugh as she slides on her light brown bear paws and we head out to the car. We stop at the McDanks drive through and get 2 small chocolate chip frappés but when we get to the window they give us 3, oh whale I'm not complaining.

We get to the school and walk into the office to grab our schedules. Blair already has hers because she came to orientation last week but I was working so I couldn't. Blair and I separate as she goes to her class and I walk into the office. I go to the back of the extremely long line and wait.

Suddenly I hear a familiar voice and I turn around.

"Justin!" I say happily, turning around and facing him.
"Elaine!" He said back, "What are you doing here?" He asks
" I go here" I laughed.
"Duh, I'm so dumb, clearly" he laughed, "tired?" He asks, motioning to my 2 coffees.
"Huh?" I ask confused, "Ohh" I said realizing he was referring to the fact that I have 2 coffees, "Not they just gave me an extra one, do you want it?" I offered.
"Uh, sure" Justin laughed.

Ringggg

The 1st period bell rings and Justin and I both look around, we are still in the back of the line and it doesn't look like we'll be going to homeroom anytime soon.

"Yeah, we might be late." He jokes sarcastically
"You might be right" I joke back

We eventually get up to the front of the line about 20 minutes later and we get our schedules.

We walk out of the office together.
"So, there's only about 20 minutes left of home room, do you just wanna walk around with me?" Justin asks
"Like, skip class?" I asked
"Well, just homeroom, but yeah, skip class." He answered.

Skip class? He wants you to skip class? You've never done that before, what if you get caught. What if your exceptance to Harvard gets taken back? You've worked too hard for this.

"Oh come on El, it'll be fine." He says.

El? Did he just give me a nickname? Aushshbd okay.

"Okay" I say smiling like an idiot.

We just pretty much walked around the halls and talked for the first five minutes and then my legs got tired so Justin offered that we just hang out in the stairwell. So we sat there and talked waiting for the bell to ring.

Ringgggg

We both stood up and looked at our schedules,

"I have Study Hall 1st" we both said simultaneously, and then we both laughed.

"So do you wanna just stay here again? Study hall isn't important, and besides, I'm having a good time with you." Justin says, smirking.
"Sure" I say, smiling like an idiot again.
