"What's up with your face, Bren? Did Sarah hit you again or something?"
"Tyler slapped me."
"Tyler, as in, nice and small and frail Tyler Joseph?"
"Yeah, well, he's not really nice anymore. I'm not sure about frail and small either. He's a completely different person now."
"Why? What happened? The last time I heard from you guys was two years ago."
"Josh died."
"Oh, oh. He was such a young and happy person.How and when?"
"He, uh, h-he killed himself a year ago, not exactly but a year."
"Oh..."
It was a little silent before Phil asked if Brendon could tell him the full story but Brendon told it wasn't his story he should share.
That he should ask Tyler.
