Back to school again; back to their school uniform which were their gray school blazers, white polo shirts, maroon ties, and black pants. It was lunch time and they met at their usual spot. "It feels like, nothing changed at all." Hoseok said, smiling. "It feels just like first year." Namjoon uttered, taking a spoonful of his lunch. Seokjin just wondered how Jimin and Jungkook were doing. They seem to act normal but he was curious about what happened. "How was the, parent-to-son talk?" Seokjin finally asks. "Fine" Both of them responded at the same time. They looked at each other and smiled. Jungkook decided to tell his first, looking back at Seokjin. "Me and my parents are doing well. my dad is trying his best to stop abusing me and it turns out, that they just didn't want to tell the truth because I might think they're lying. So we are all good now." They were shocked to hear the word, abusing. Especially that it came from Jungkook. "Your dad was abusing you?" Taehyung, who's mouth was dropped, exclaimed. "No need to worry hyung. Things are good now." Taehyung nods at him even though he still worries a bit. They all then turned to Jimin. He wasn't that ready but he guesses that he could manage. "Well, it ended up that he wasn't lying about anything. I just thought he was lying. It turns out that, my mom was imaginary." They were shocked hearing this. "I had a symptom of imaginary friend but now, it's gone. My mom did die in a car accident. But because of my imaginary mom, I saw something else. Me and my dad are in good terms now." Jimin said, taking a spoonful of his lunch too.
"Bye!" Hoseok exclaimed, going to class. The others went to class too, leaving Jungkook next to his locker. He opened it then someone forcefully closed it. Good thing he didn't get hurt. He looked at the person who closed the door and who else would he expect. "What do you want Mingyu?" Jungkook asks, crossing his arms. "Oh I don't know. We are just rivals right?" Mingyu asks and this made Jungkook's heart drop. From being great friends to rivals; who would've thought. "We aren't friends anymore so may you please leave?" He asks angrily. "Oh I don't know. How's your black eye? Did it get worse?" Jungkook wanted to push Mingyu away and leave but he didn't. "If you have nothing to do, please leave." Jungkook tried walking away but was blocked by Mingyu, standing in front of him. "What do you want?" He asks. "Hmm, probably, I want you to experience how they felt when you were a jerk to them." Mingyu then takes Jungkook's necklace. "Give it back!" Jungkook shouted, trying to get his necklace back but Mingyu stretched his arm away from Jungkook. He then examined the necklace. "Hmm, what is this? A necklace? Just like the one Taehyung and Hoseok owns." Jungkook started worrying on what he would do with the necklace. Mingyu then starts running out of the school and Jungkook followed, running behind him.
One scary thing about the school is that near it was a cliff. Students would always wonder why the school was built near a cliff. But it brings no harm to the school. Mingyu ran to the cliff with Jungkook running behind him. "Give it back!" Jungkook shouted. Mingyu didn't respond. He stopped running. Right now, he was at the edge of the cliff. He stole a glance at Jungkook then he threw the necklace over the cliff. Jungkook was shocked that he did that. He stopped running, slowly walking near the edge. "Never seen Jeon Jungkook weak over a useless thing." Mingyu said, inserting his hand on his pants pockets, leaving.
Jungkook tried looking for the necklace over the cliff but it was no use. Below were just trees and the cliff was probably, as Jungkook estimates, 100ft. But the thought is, how can Mingyu do that? Mingyu really hates him now doesn't he? He never would've thought that they would become rivals. He started crying, tears dripping down. It is not because he just lost the necklace but the fact that Mingyu isn't his friend anymore. A friend who he trusted alot when he was still enemies with the others. He became very close to him now this happens. He then remembered a quote he saw from the internet which he believes is true; and it is. 'Losing an argument is better than losing a friend' is what the quote says. He would rather lose an argument rather than losing Mingyu; but he did. After a few minutes of reflecting, he knew that Mingyu was never a good friend. He wiped his tears away with his arm then he walks back in school. He needs to make up an excuse now why he was late.
