"Mom! I'm going out!" Namjoon shouted putting on his jacket. "This late? Where are you going?" She asked, shouting back. "I'm going to buy stuff for the camping trip!" He replied. "Why now?" She asked again. "There are hardly any people lining up to pay!" He replied again holding the door knob. "Okay, stay safe!" She said finally letting him leave. "I will!" He opened the door then left.
The streets were dark and empty, the only light found was the light of the lampposts and the moon and stars that were shining brightly. A beautiful night as Namjoon says. His hands were inside the pockets of his jacket and He was listening to music; mainly rap. He was just walking peacefully to the store where he needed to buy stuff for the camp which will occur in a few days.
He entered the store and there were hardly any people inside. "I knew I was right." Namjoon muttered under his breath, smiling. He grabbed a piece of paper from his backpack and read it. "Looks like I have a few stuff to buy." He said quite surprised on the quantity of things needed to buy since he has most of it. He walked around the place to look for the things he needed. "Sleeping bag? Already have that." He crossed out that item on the list. "Flashlight, bandages. Yeah, I need bandages." He looked for the bandages. "Bandages, bandages, ah! Bandages." He grabbed 2 bandages and threw it in his basket. "What else do I need?" He asked himself. He looked up ahead and he saw someone which squinted his eyes. The other person saw him and he smirked at him. "Hey Namjoon!" Jungkook greeted, approaching him. "What are you doing here this late?" Namjoon asked. "I don't know, what are you doing this late? Shouldn't you be sleeping in bed? Or did you you destroy it so you're here buying a new one." Namjoon opened his mouth but was interrupted by Jungkook. "I'm sorry but you can't buy beds here. Go somewhere else to buy a bed but, you might destroy the place thou. You might have to pay for the place. Sadly, you will be using your parents money." Jungkook sneakily grabbed one of the bandages from the basket of Namjoon and placed it in his. "Why you little-" He couldn't even say the word since an old lady was behind them. "Why what's wrong? Can't say it just because of her?" Namjoon was furious right now. "Jungkook, you are being such a bastard right now." He said stiffly gripping the basket tighter. "Why us Jungkook? Why do you choose us?" He asked. Jungkook thought of it for a moment then he answered. "Well, I find you idiots pretty interesting and I like teasing interesting idiots." Namjoon wanted to punch him directly at his face but he couldn't. "Well, I'd best be off. I do not want to waste my time with one of the jerks." Jungkook then left leaving Namjoon with his blood boiling. "I've never felt this angry in my life."
Jungkook finished packing his bag for the camp. He checked the time and it was getting late. He threw the bag on the floor then he fell on his bed, tired. He tugged his blanket to him and he drifted off to sleep.
"Ya! Taehyung!" Jungkook shouted. Taehyung shot the cake mix, who he stole from Jungkook, into the basket. "Yes!" He exclaimed. Jungkook hit the back of his head, but not too hard. "Ya! That hurts Jungkook-ah!" Taehyung rubbed the back of his head where he was hit. "Now now, don't fight, remember, this is a surprise birthday for Jimin and we need to make it amazing!" Seokjin said being the mom of the group. "Yes mom." Taehyung and Jungkook said teasing Seokjin. "Don't call me mom!" He exclaimed. The two from the maknae line laughed. "We got the other ingredients for the cake." Yoongi said. He and Hoseok threw the ingredients in the cart. "I got some birthday stuff." Namjoon said bringing it into the basket. "Did we get everything?" Seokjin asked. "Yes!" All of them responded. "Let's pay now! Make sure to go to Jimin's birthday the day after tomorrow This day should be special to him." He said pushing the cart to the cashier. "Yes!"
Jungkook woke up. He looked at the time. It's 2AM. "What was that?" He asked himself. "It's not true right? That never happened. It was just a dream." He uttered not believing that the event that he dreamed of actually happened. Shaking the thought off, he went back to sleep.
"Jungkook, will you be able to go to Jimin's birthday party on the day after tomorrow?" Seokjin asks. "Of course hyung!" He said confidently.
"What did Jungkook do?" Jimin asked, emphasizing what, just to see if he heard Namjoon correctly. "He kept on annoying me and making me so mad. He even got a bandage, which I was supposed to buy for my own, from my basket." Namjoon repeated. "Is it me or did he get a little bit more, mean." Seokjin asked. "I don't know, I think he's still the same." According to Jimin. "It's just I've never seen Namjoon getting so furious." He said.
They were waiting for Hoseok outside since they would always walk to school together. Meanwhile while waiting, Taehyung and Yoongi sprinted to the house of Hoseok. Jimin was listening to music and he noticed two people running to them from the distance. "Oh. Is that Taehyung and Yoongi?" He questioned, taking his earphones off. Namjoon and Seokjin faced Jimin's direction. "Hey guys!" Taehyung shouted. They stopped running and the both of them tried to catch their breath. "Why did you guys run over here?" Jimin asked. The both of them were still panting until Yoongi spoke up. "Taehyung... made me.... made us... run here..." Yoongi panted in between words because of exhaustion. He could fall on the ground any minute. "Huh why?" Namjoon asked. "I've got... to talk... to you guys... about something..." Taehyung said still breathless. "Okay sorry for taking long!" Hoseok exclaims as he closes the door. He then saw Taehyung and Yoongi who seemed tired like they ran. He tilted his head to the side wondering why they were there. "Oh?"
Jungkook was wearing his black hoodie today. While walking, he heard people talking. He looked up to see who it was. It was the group of Namjoon and they were walking side-by-side. "What is that?" Hoseok asked. Jungkook puts on his hood and he tries to get closer for him to hear.
"I found this in my bag. It says, 'Talk to me when you have the time. I've got questions for you.'" Taehyung read the paper out loud. "Where did you find that?" Yoongi asked. "Inside the pocket in my bag. I wonder who inserted it inside there." He uttered. "I think I know who wrote this." Jimin said, having an idea who. "Who?" All of them ask. "Jungkook." He said which surprised the others. They sis not expect him to write a note to Taehyung."Why would Jungkook tell Taehyung to talk to him?" Hoseok asks. "Well, I've been observing Jungkook lately, it's quite, strange. He cried after he lost, he became even meaner according to Jin and, have you noticed that he's only aiming for us now?" They all nod in agreement coming into a realization. "He usually bullies others but now, his main focus is us. I think he has questions for Taehyung." He said. "So, should I, talk to him?" Taehyung asks him. Meanwhile, Jungkook was hoping for him to say yes but then it was the opposite. "No." Well of course, Jimin would say no. "We still couldn't trust him yet." Jimin continued. "That's true." Taehyung replied. Jungkook looked at them for a second until he remembered something.
"Hey Yoongi! Hurry up!" Jimin shouted outside of the house of Yoongi. "Ya I'm here!" He says getting out of his house. "Did you oversleep again hyung?" Jungkook asked. Yoongi reached the bottom of the steps. "Maybe.." He replied like he was unsure with his answer. "Typical Yoongi." Namjoon murmured. "Come on! This will be our first time going to school with Jungkook!" Jimin said excitedly. Jungkook smiled seeing how excited Jimin was to be with him. These past few weeks, they've gotten really close to each other. Right now, it was Jungkook's first time to walk with his friends to school because usually, his mom or dad drives him there and he would just say hi to them from inside the car. "Seokjin hyung, do we have a test in Literature today?" Hoseok asks. "I think we have. Did you study?" Hoseok shakes his head, turning a bit worried. "We are doomed to Ms. Choi." He says a bit nervous. Meanwhile, Jimin approached Jungkook who seemed out of the group. "Hey, it's been weeks since we became friends with you. You know that we could trust you right? And you could trust us." Jungkook nods, smirking. "Of course hyung. I've got your back." Jimin smiles at him. He then messes the hair of the maknae.
That was a sudden memory that flashed in his mind. He is not sure if it was a memory or it was something else. It couldn't possibly be a memory. But then Jungkook chose to not believe in it since right now, Jimin and the others do not trust him so there is no way it could be one.
"Oh is that the school bell?" Hoseok questioned hearing a distant bell from the direction of the school. "Oh shoot let's go." Namjoon says then they run. Taehyung accidentally drops the paper and it lands on the road. It started to drizzle and the paper was getting wet. Jungkook approached it and it was now next to his shoe. He grabbed the paper, tore it, crumpled it, and threw it away. "Why did I do that?" Jungkook asked himself in a low voice. "What is happening to me?
Why am I doing this?"
