Damien walked outside to see Sylvia on her phone, looking at it was an irritated look.

“What’s the matter” Boyfriend dump ya’?” Damien asked.

Sylvia looked up at Damien. “Don’t have one. I could though, if he’d make the first move.”

“You shouldn’t wait for the other to make the first move, you might end up waiting for a long time.”

“Damien, I’m talking about you.”

“...what?”

“Do you think you kiss people for no reason?”

“Isn’t that what everyone does?”

“Man, you are ignorant.”

“I’m not good with girls. Remember? My brother is gay. No help there.”

“Damien, are you going to ask me out or not?”

“Not now, but if you’re still offering another day.”

“Wow, do you really think I’ll be waiting on another day?”

“Yes.”

Sylvia cracked a small crooked smile. “Wow, I’ve never met anyone like you before.”

“I’ll take that as a compliment.”

Sylvia’s smile dropped and she looked back down at her phone.

“Problem?”

“Lucifer is calling me back. I don’t know when I’ll be back in the mundane world.”

“It seems, your plan is not so fool proof.”

“Call me when you come back though, okay?”

Sylvia smiled cheekily. “Only if you give me another of those kisses.”

Damien walked up to her and pressed his lips against hers, his hands automatically rested on her hips. It was as if he could feel sparks go through his lips and into his body. Sylvia wrapped her arms around Damien’s neck and played at the ends of his small ponytail. Damien’s grip around Sylvia tightened, she happily melted into his body. Damien didn’t want the kiss to end, but Sylvia’s phone buzzed again, and he knew who it would be. Sylvia broke the kiss with an irritable groan, looked down at her phone, rolled her eyes and shoved it back into her pocket.

“Talk later.” She muttered. She snapped her fingers and a portal appeared in front of her, purple and red melted into black inside it.

“Yeah...” Damien sighed. Sylvia stepped inside the portal, then it vanished. Damien sighed in an annoyed fashion and turned his collar up against the wind of Capulet City.

“She’s a keeper, Damien.” Damien heard Dante behind him.

“Will you hit me again if I let her go?” Damien asked, not turning to face his Father.

“Probably. I’ll hit you harder if you avoid me for a year again. You’d better hope to god you hurry up and inherit those healing abilities kid, cause I was going easy on you.”

Damien looked at Dante over his shoulder, the look his is Father’s eyes was serious. Damien nodded in response, Dante did his trademark two fingered solute.

“Cya kid.”

“Cya old man.”

Damien turned and walked down the cobblestone road back into the city.

“Do you wish to know a method for excelled healing?”

“Not especially.” Damien replied, knowing nothing good could come from the sword. Especially when he offered the advice without being asked.
