Two days later, the kids had to go back to Lothal High, not something they were excited for especially not Zeb. They all woke up at 6 o'clock and ate the breakfast Hera made which consisted of eggs and bacon.

After everyone was fed and had their book bags, Zeb grabbed his keys and kissed Hera on the cheek. Making his way out to his car, Sabine and Ezra with his large bag followed silently. He approached the truck they saw on the Karaoke night and hopped in, Zeb driving and Sabine in the passenger side leaving Ezra in the back with all the book bags.
"Y'all excited for school?" Zeb questioned sarcastically. Sabine chuckled, "Totally. I love learning about useless things. What about you, Ez?" The boy looked up at the mention of his name, "Um, I look forward to school but not today, I have a lot of homework so I'm glad I have an extra bag." They glanced at each both looking back at the youngest, "Seriously? An extra bag?" Ezra nodded, "Yeah, both my college and high school classes both have a lot of homework and since I missed an entire week, I'm going to need an extra bag." The front seat riders sighed in pity.
After Zeb parked the truck, they all hopped out with smiles but Ezra's dropped as he looked around the crowd. He immediately looked down and pulled his green hoodie down over his head. Ezra looked over at Zeb, "Ill see you after school, Bye." And blended with the crowd, leaving Sabine and Zeb with furrowed eyebrows.

I too lazy too write their school day.
True to his word, Ezra showed up in front of the school hulling two bags on each shoulder. Zeb grabbed one of the bags and his arm dropped in surprise of the weight. "God, is this th' homework bag?" Ezra nodded as he opened the back door and put down the first bag, reaching back for the other. "Yeah, my college classes did not go easy so this is due tomorrow." They looked at him in shock, "You ar' not goin' to finished tha' tonigh' ar' ya?" Zeb asked in astonishment. Ezra nodded with determination, "Yeah I am. I'm going to at least try to keep my grades up." Sabine and Zeb sparred each other surprised glance before loading their stuff into the back with Ezra.
The ride to the house was silent, no speaking as Ezra just hummed along to the country radio. Sabine and Zeb just listening the the kid and silently thinking about when to do their own homework.
They all entered the kitchen at 3:00 and said their greetings to Hera, Kanan being at work. The mom figure of the house stared at the youngest as he put his two beach bag like bags on the island saying to her, "Do you mind if I do homework in here?" She smiled and shook her head, little in shock. "No Love, but do you have to do all that tonight?" Ezra nodded, his ponytail swishing.
He waved to Sabine and Zeb as they left the room with their bags to do their own homework in their rooms. Ezra pulled at chair from the dinning room and sat down at the granite island where Hera was working on their diner. He silently pulled out everything in his bag, papers and books stacked neatly.
Surprisingly, he pulled out a glasses case and opened it with ease. He slipped on the black rimmed, metal studded glasses and got to work with what was on top. She shook her head and began to peel potatoes for mashing.
"What are you starting on?" She asked absentmindedly, a habit she formed with Sabine and Zeb. "Calculus" She picked her head up and looked at his paper suspiciously. True to his word, he was scribbling down formulas in neat handwriting. He answered every question on his worksheet as if it were second nature and sighed as he put it aside. Ezra grabbed at large textbook from his other bag and a blue agenda from the pile. Hera opened her mouth to ask but Ezra bet her to it. "Biology"  He gets out pieces of paper and a pencil and begins writing in his neat cursive writing. Hera watches him for almost an hour, going through about four papers before he drops his pencil and puts his arms above his head. After pops sound from his back, he sighed and looked at the smirking Hera. "You done yet? You can help with diner if you want." Ezra shook his head with disappointment. "As much as I want to, I now have to write a 10 page paper for chemistry and world history so I don't think I'll have time to sadly." Hera's mouth dropped open in shock, "20 pages?!? By tomorrow?!?" Ezra nodded solemnly. "Well I'm not going to just sit here while you write till your hand cramps, go ask Zeb if you can borrow his computer." Blue eyes widen before nodding, not disobeying her command.

Ezra timidly knocked on Zeb's door, wincing when he heard the groans of the teen through the door. Zeb pulled open the door and looked down at his younger brother, "Yeah, Kid?" He watched as Ezra avoided looking at him and smiled when he heard him say, "Hera told me to ask you if I could borrow your computer?" He nodded swiftly and grabbed it off the shelves wall. "Can I ask why you need it?" Ezra sighed and rolled his eyes, "I have to write a 10 page paper for chemistry and world history. Hera doesn't want me writing it with pencil so here I am." Zeb chuckled and passed it over. "Good luck, Kid." And closed the door with no more words exchanged.

After diner and one paper done, Ezra was still in the kitchen working on his second paper alone with all lights off. He sighed and cracked his knuckles before getting back to it, having five more pages to do. He glanced at the clock to see if was 1:00 and he yawned. He furiously typed away and finally at 2:00, he finished with over 20,000 words and 10 pages for his stupid world history class. He hit print before pushing the computer forward and laying his aching head on the cooling granite, his eyes falling to their own accord.

He awoke to the feeling of someone rubbing his back. Too groggy to fully comprehend what was happening, he turned his head the other way, whispering five more minutes. The sound of light chuckling fully brought him to reality. He picked his head up and took off his crooked glasses, trying to rub to the rest of his sleep away. Ezra stared at the smiling Hera before his eyes widened. "Why are you down here? You don't come down till nearly ... Oh crap I feel asleep!" He jumped off the seat, rushing up the stairs and into his room. Throwing on light washed jeans, a white tank top, and an unbuttoned red plaid. Swiftly grabbing a grey beanie from his unpacked bag, he reminded himself to unpack when he got home and rushed down the stairs. Sitting at the table with everyone else, he quickly ate his fluffy pancakes and rushed off to the hidden study by Hera and Kanan's room. He grabbed his paper off the black printer and stapled it quickly, wanting to get ready to leave as soon as possible.

Ezra neatly put everything in his beach bag before he turned to Hera who was washing dishes, "Goodbye Hera. When I get home I'll help with dinner to make up for breakfast." Hera smiled and shook her head, not bothering to argue. The teen took the heavy bags off the counter, grunting from the weight before heading out the back door, not paying attention to the washer and dryer in the garage and hopped into the already filled car. Zeb immediately pulled out of the driveway and turned on the music like the day before.

The day passed as normal and Ezra turned in all his homework which his teachers thanked him for finishing it so soon. And the group of teens drove home as they did the other day, Ezra quietly humming along the almost silent radio.
A smile was planted on the kids face as his face was leaning out the window, the wind blowing blowing a blue frenzy of hair. His teachers gave him a day off of homework for his good job and well he was proud he had done something right. Sabine and Zeb had their own windows down, silently thinking to themselves as the blurry green passed by.

They hopped out of the grey truck and hulled their backpacks through the backdoor. Hera smiled as she heard the door open and stood up to greet them. Everyone smiled but it all dropped as she asked the question every child hates, "Any of you have homework?" Sabine and Zeb groaned in sync and trudged upstairs. Ezra though stayed were he was with a cheeky grin before he said, "I have none so I'll start dinner now." And he started to walk in the direction of the stairs before he heard Hera announce, "Actually Ezra, I'm not starting dinner till 5:00 and since you got home earlier than usually, you have three hours to yourself." Ezra's smile widened and he nodded quickly before continuing his run up the stairs.

He appeared 10 minutes later in loose black basketball shorts that looked familiar and a blue cut out tank top. His pulled up hair swished as he turned his head to Hera to sat on the couch reading and said causally, "Hera, I'm going out on a run. I'll see you in 3 hours." And walked out of the door before he received an approval from Hera.
Ezra immediately slipped in his earbuds and blasted his music from his old MP3 player that he hardly uses. He jogged away from the house, getting into a rhythm for his metal and real legs to work together.
He sighed in content as the feeling of the cleansed air and wind against his shiny skin. He relished in the feeling before picking up speed and focusing on his breathing pattern.
