"The fuck? Who are you?"
Haruka knew she hadn't been the best mother, and she knew that using her own childhood was a shitty excuse of dealing the same emotional damage to her son. She had wanted her son to turn out to be someone successful, and by the time her son was an adult, he already had a woman he wanted to marry, a stable job, and wonderful living conditions. That was all she had to ask for, but not before asking for a grandchild naturally.
But standing in front of her was someone that resembled her little boy from all those years ago, albeit taller. Instead of slick black hair, his hair was a bright pink color, matching his and her eyes. He wasn't too short, nor was he too tall, just the average height of every typical young man. His taste in fashion wasn't too great in her opinion. Who wears that much leather in the middle of summer?
His bruised hands were gripping onto the handles of a wheelchair, with his supposed friend staring at Haruka as if she was a ghost. Like the young man, the smaller male resembled her son, except he didn't have the rosy pink eyes. He had bright yellow ones. At least this one was wearing attire meant for summer, with that sleeveless yellow hoodie, black shorts, and simple yellow slippers. Haruka was a bit curious about the bruises that decorated his legs though.
She blinked, realizing she had grabbed the pink-haired male's arm and stopped him from having a stroll with his friend. The older male, though younger than her, wasn't having any of it, and pulled away with a scowl. "What do you want?" He asked a bit rudely, his voice full of irritation. "If you don't need anything, leave me alone."
With a click of his tongue, he walked past her, but stopped once he felt the younger male's hand pat his.
"Todo-niisan!" The other cried in distress. "That's rude!"
"Oh? Is it now?" His scowl disappeared into the form of an amused smirk, ruffling his brother's hair. "Alright. I'll buy you ice cream if you don't tattle to Kara."
The other's eyes lit up. "Ice cream?! How many scoops?!"
"Hm.. three?"
"Just this once, nii-san!" The other giggled, covering his mouth with his hands.
The duo laughed before walking away, leaving Haruka in shock.
Todo. The pink-eyed delinquent's name was Todo.
The same name as her long abandoned son.
She would have to make a letter to Flag Corporation regarding this.
