I woke up to the smell of musk with a hint of baby powder and a butterfly light kiss on my forehead.
"Good morning, Love." he said, sitting on on the bed. "Hindi na kita ginising kasi ang sarap ng tulog mo parang baby. I cooked you breakfast though. Nasa table lang, mainit pa."
I wrapped my arms around his waist, burying my face in the space between his shoulder and neck.
"Do you really need to go in today? I mean, pwede ka naman mag call in sick every once in a while di ba?"
"Hay, naman ang baby ko." he wrapped his arms around me, pulling me onto his lap. "I really love this side of you; my really clingy baby koala."
He rubbed his nose against mine - looking so pleased with himself when I froze and just stared at his handsome face millimiters away from me.
"Baby, yung laway mo tumutulo." he smirked.
I used both my hands to push his face away from mine, annoyed at how smug he looked this early in the morning. "Ang yabang! Never mind, kakain na ko pumunta ka na ng office. I'm sure there's a lot of work for the CEO. He can never miss work."
I made a move to extricate myself from his arms only for him to tighten his hold on my waist.
"Ang bilis naman mag tampo ng misis ko."
"Anong misis? Was I asleep during the wedding or are you mistaking me for another woman?"
There was only enough time for me to see a dark look flash in his eyes before I found myself pinned on the bed - his 5"11 body on top of mine, my wrists held in his right hand while his left pulled out his phone.
"I'm sleeping in today. Reschedule all appointments."
"..."
"I don't care. I have more pressing matters to attend to." he said, making it a point to thrust his hips when he said pressing. I had to supress a moan.
He turned his phone off and threw it somewhere on the floor.
"Now, where were we, Nicomaine? Was it breakfast?" he said, his eyes full of steaming promises.
Ha. I win.
