"Elizabeth!" I heard Lori call from the porch. I removed my apron then walked outside.
"Yeah?" I asked, still wiping my hands with a cloth. She pulled my hand and led me underneath a nearby tree.

"I'm pregnant" she stated, emotion wavering throughout her facial expression, as if she couldn't choose what to express.

"Well damn um, it's Rick's, right?" I asked. She hesitantly nodded then I sighed, "you're gonna be alright, my daddy's here and when you give birth-"
"I don't think I want this baby Elizabeth.." my eyes widened and I stood broadly, supporting her decision.

"You need me to go run and get some pills?" She nodded and I hugged her before walking off to find Glenn.
"Pizza boy?" I called, thinking he may respond to it. I turned the corner and saw Glenn walking towards me with Maggie. I giggled and smiled at the two, happy Maggie had found someone sigh as him.

"Glenn will you go on a run with me?" I asked hesitantly. He sighed and I nodded, accepting the fact that he didn't want to go. I shrugged and made the decision to go by myself. I hugged and kissed Lucas goodbye then made my way to the car, Shane approached loudly.

"Come back to me safe, okay?" He asked gently before kissing me passionately. I melted into the kiss then nodded and sat in the car.
"I will, don't worry" I replied then smiled and drove off.

I sighed deeply and thought about what could happen. I could die and I might not see my boy again, or any of my family for heavens sake.

But this was for Lori, and her baby. I know how hard it is to make the decision of keeping it or not. I groaned and looked up then without being able to do something about it, I ran the car into a pole and passed out.

- 1 day later -
-  Shane's Pov -

I woke up to the sound of Hershel's pesky roosters sounding their 'wake up alarm' as he called it. I groaned then stepped outside of the tent cautiously. I stretched and went inside the house to check on Elizabeth.

I knocked on the door but no answer was given so I entered. No one had seemed to be occupying her bed so I searched the farm for her, still she couldn't be found anywhere.

"Where'n the hell is she, we can't be missing two people at once!" I hollered at Rick. Lori came over and sighed desperately before speaking, "she went to the pharmacy to retrieve some for items for us. Glenn chose not to go so she went by herself and I'm guessing-"

"I'm going, Rick you're comin' with me" I growled and stepped into the car. Rick sighed and made his way to the passenger seat.

As we pulled out of the drive way Rick glanced towards me, "something going on between you and Elizabeth?" he asked unexpectedly. I shook my head and kept a stern look spread across my face. Rick rolled his eyes and averted his gaze back out of the window.

As we were nearing the pharmacy, we saw a car off to the side that seemed like it had just recently been crashed. I slammed on the breaks and immediately stepped out of our vehicle.

I cautiously walked up to the scene, my pistol eye level so I was able to shoot at anything. Elizabeth popped into view and I opened the car door without hesitance.
"We need to get her back, quickly. She's real badly injured Rick" I stated while putting her limp body into the back seat.

I sat in the seat next to her, just in case something were to happen. A tear shed and it roll slowly down my cheek. I shook my head and wiped the tear away, not wanting Rick to see it. I've never necessarily felt this emotionally attached to someone, other than Lori.

I heard a slight groan escape from Elizabeth's mouth, signaling that she was somewhat awake. I smiled slightly as I removed a strand of hair from her face.

"Where are we?" She asked before sitting up straight.
"Lay back down, you're hurt Elizabeth" I demanded softly, not wanting to get on her bad side even more than I already am. She huffed and did as I said, laying her head on my lap as we drove back to the farm.

When we arrived I rushed her inside to Hershel and laid her down on the bed that Carl used to lay in.

Hershel and his family did their thing to help her and I sat in a nearby chair with Lucas in my lap. His cheeks were stained with tears as well as my navy blue shirt.

"Is mama gonna be alright?" He hiccuped, I nodded in response then smiled.
"Your mom is strong, she can pull through this Luke" I ruffled his hair and he nodded with a grin. He continued to hold onto my chest and eventually like fell asleep.

"You're right for my daughter" Hershel murmured while stitching up an open cut.
"Well, thank you" I replied hesitantly.
He nodded, "we may need you to go on another run, since we're running low on medical supplies."

"No way in hell am I going back to that high school"
"I know, I know. I was wondering if you could maybe find another pharmacy in the area" he asked before finishing stitching up Elizabeth's wound. I sighed and nodded then I cautiously picked Lucas up and set him on the couch in the living room.

"I'll be back" I yelled before slamming the door and making my way to a car. I groaned and exited the farm once more to find a pharmacy for Elizabeth.

- 1 hour later -
- Elizabeth's Pov -

A groan managed to escape my busted and bloodied lips. I looked around, slightly confused as to where I was. I slowly sat up then realized that I was in the home I grew up in. I sighed thankfully then laid myself back onto the bed and watched out of the window. The sky was a dusty orange that ombred into black which signaled it was nearing night.

"Daddy?" I called, hoping he'd be inside the house. I heard a rustling come from the sofa then footsteps followed afterwards. Lucas ran up to me and hugged me gently. I giggled and kissed his fore-head, "go find grampa, will you?" I asked politely. Lucas nodded then trotted out the front door in search for my dad.

I waited in silence for anyone to walk into the room so I wouldn't be 'lonely'. My dad entered the door, followed by Lucas and Carl.

"How are you feeling" my dad asked before removing my bandages to change them. I sighed deeply,
"I'm fine daddy, few more days and I'll be good to go" I smiled. He chuckled at finished fixing my bandages, they were now white and not bloodstained.

I sat out on the porch in a wooden chair while Lucas played hide in seek with Carl around the house. I watched as everyone roamed around, trying to find the lost girl they had been talking about. Andrea was on watch today and her hands were occupied with a gun, something my father said they couldn't be carrying around.

"Walker!" I heard her scream from the top of Dale's RV. My eyes widened and I went looking for Lucas but he was already near the Rv.
"Lucas, get back here now!" I yelled, not wanting to see my son get eaten if there were more.

"Just the one?" Rick asked.
I bet I can nail it from here." Andrea stated with pride. Shane pulled up in the car, I guess he had left last night.
"What's going on?" He stepped out of the vehicle.
"There's a Walker" I replied while holding onto Lucas tightly.

"Better let us handle this," he said, grabbing his gun and storming off with Rick to go kill the Walker. Andrea shot anyways, no matter how many times Dale told her not to. I groaned and heard yelling in a distance.

"No!" I heard Rick shout loudly. My eyes widened and I realized that Daryl went that direction to find Sophia.
"Damnit, Lucas stay here with Carl" I demanded before walking to help them get Daryl back.

"Why couldn't she just have listened," I thought to myself.
