"We have to warn them," said Araidne, "She'll bring them to ruins"

"No! Leave them be -I can feel the tears of our kin in these waters," said the second mermaid.

"I feel it too" said the first mermaid,
" The currents are heavy with blood. We cannot stay, Obedius decreed that if our blood resounds in these waters, he will sing"

Camouflaged in the flowing water the two mermaids swam away into the sea deserting Araidne. Araidne's presence in the castle at that present time was an extreme oddity to be so high up in the tower in her full form. If one was to look closely, the emerald tailed mermaid had aged by a few years in contrast to when she first fell into the whirling pool in Slyrican only a few weeks ago. Her tail had grown longer and rivaled that of a great serpent, her beauty though was still capable of racing any heart to a stop. Her speech now sounded more sure and experienced like she had been living amongst men a long time, to understand her sorroundings. This was an Araidne devoid of innocence but moved with purpose. The currents around her pulled her wholly from the rushing glinting seawater and placed her onto the stone floor of the tower. She transformed to her human semblance and stood elegantly poised looking out to the sea where her sisters disappeared beneath the currents.

"I will aid them" she said moved down the spiral stairs into the castle.

Coming from the throne room, Beatrice winced as she felt a hand slide between her buttocks.

"Hey! hands off pervert" Beatrice warned holding up a finger.

"Silence !" the dwarf said cruelly reaching for her left breast. Beatrice grabbed hold of his hand but the dwarf was quicker and twisted hers behind her back, she dropped the tray and the crockery that sat on it from the pain. The dwarf was now fondling her with his free hand, "You are quite strong for a woman. The serving trays-is it?"

She acted on impulse and grabbed the dwarf by his groin with her free hand, giving the spheres below it a couple of squeezes. With that the dwarf was forced to release Beatrice and she tackled him to the ground and strangled him.

"Shelmar sheibar..."

The dwarf stopped moving and fell asleep. She became alarmed when the spell drew her attention to the intruder peering at them from behind.

"Relax- they get on my nerves too" said Genffaine.

She drew out her hidden dagger and held it above the sleeping dwarf in readiness to slay but -"It's better he stays alive, he'll forget everything. Who is still left with you in the castle?" Genffaine asked dragging the dwarf behind a pillar.

"My mother" Beatrice said innocently blinking her eyes.

Genffaine for a moment stared questionably at her.
"Your mother...which one is your mother?"

"Barsithe" She said to clear the old man's confused look and proceded to take Genffaine to the laundry room.

"Follow me hag-" Genffaine said with a serious demeanor, when he got there, bringing all movement to a halt "your services are no longer needed"

The old woman complied as the servants murmured enviably. He took Beatrice and the widow to the hallways where the others were waiting;Tikan had been able to smuggle them in.

"I have a plan to get rid of these creatures that infest the castle, I will send goblins to hunt you in order to make our performance believable... move along that corridor" pointing down the hallway, "If we get caught today we are all doomed"
Genffaine was visibly shaking, the second time Beatrice had seen him do it that day and it made him anxious too.
