"What just happened there?" I asked Chris, adjusting my seat belt.
"Where?" Chris said, keeping his eyes on the road.
"My house idiot. There was some serious tension in there. If you wouldn't have gone out of the house, I would've died of suffocation."
"Stop exaggerating okay?"
"Tell me what was happening then."
He stayed quiet for a moment and those 2 minutes of silence were deafening. I glared at him. He sighed and explained, "Sophia was my neighbor when she was in college. And well, we were good friends. We-"
"Were?" I raised my eyebrows.
"I don't know if we were or if we are. Anyway, So we had lots of fun. We used to come over each other's house, watch movies, and do weird stuff."
"What exactly do you mean by weird stuff?" I asked, trying to keep my smile away but failing miserably.
"Not even close to what your dirty mind is thinking." He said, shaking his head.
This made me remember what I thought when I saw Niall and Alex that day. Does that mean I have a dirty mind? Huh, No. I was not the only one who thought dirty at that time, was I?
"I don't have a dirty mind." I muttered.
"Yeah? Do I need to remind you of that Andamans incident? Alex told me about what happened." He smirked.
Did Alex tell him?! Woah, how is it that Chris talked to each of my best friends but not me? And none of them even told me about him. It's like, he ignored me for half of his life and then suddenly comes up and says, 'I knew Sophia and Alex told me about your trip.' Such a stalker.
Should I ask him about Alex? It had been years since I had heard from her. Or maybe I should just keep quiet.
"Whatever, you go on with your story." I reply.
"Okay, so yeah, we were good friends. Then I shifted places. That's it." He said, taking a right towards the road that lead to the club.
"But, did you guys had a fight or something? I mean, you both looked pretty awkward staring at each other." I asked.
"We weren't staring." He muttered.
"So what were you doing? Telepathy?"
"Stop interrogating me! What's wrong with you?" He exclaims. "Oh wait, I smell jealousy."
"Jealous? Me? Huh, you wish." I said, nonchalantly.
"You love me, don't you?" He asked, his smirk plastered on his face.
"EWW. How could you even think of that! That's so gross." I replied with a slap on his arm. "I mean, look at One Direction and then look at yourself."
"You're comparing me with One Direction? That's an achievement for me."
"Oh Shut up please."
"You were the one who started talking in the first place." He shrugged his shoulders.
"Let's just go." I said, getting out of the car.
"Okay, warning time." Chris spoke.
"Warning? What do you mean?"
"I am a heavy drinker."
"Okay? So?"
"I lose my mind when I drink a lot so I can do weird things too." He said, his head facing the ground.
My eyes widened. Which kind of weird things?!
"NOT EVEN CLOSE TO WHAT YOU'RE THINKING ONCE AGAIN." Chris exclaimed. "Just weird things, like, putting tomato ketchup in tequila shots."
