Just Can't Get Over With This Dilemma

As I was seated in the taxi, my mind just replayed what all had happened last night. Last night would have been more fun if Louis wouldn't had been there. Or talked to me.

But the first thing I had on my mind was to apologize to Chris. Of course he was right about Louis. I know I can't get over him, but that doesn't mean I have to force my opinions on someone. And if this would've happened to some other person, I definitely would have supported the one who had been agonized.

I told the driver to stop at Chris's house. I quickly paid him and went to ring the doorbell.

"Who's it?" I heard Chris shout without opening the door.

"You have a freaking peephole to look from." I mumbled.

"Olivia?"

"Nope, I am Eleanor."

"Are you drunk?" He asked with a hint of curiosity in his voice.

"Open the damn door!" I said, hitting repeatedly on the door.

I don't know how I'll apologize. I am so bad at it.

"Okay, So, why are you here?" Chris said, finally opening the door.

Okay, here goes nothing.

"Well, you know, MAYBE you were right about Louis."

"Maybe?"

"Yeah, MAYBE."

No Olivia, you don't have to defend Louis. You hate him, remember?

Ok, maybe you don't.

"Okay, So?" He said, leaning onto the side of the door.

"I just, you know, I am not able to get over him. That's why I kinda blew up."

"Okay. I understand..So?" He smirked.

Ugh he knows I am bad at apologizing.

"IamsorryforwhateverIsaidtoyouinthecarbutstillLouisisnotanasshole."

"WOW! Ok, I understood you apologized to me, but can you repeat the last part?" He said, looking me directly in the eyes.

"Louis.is.not.an.asshole." I said.

"Okay. I forgive you. But I want to apologize too. It must be hard for you to move on the way he did so easily. I shouldn't have said that. I'm sorry." He said, running his hands through his hair.

"I forgive you too."

"Great! So, if you don't mind..Wanna go out for a drink tonight? I am free and it is Sunday tomorrow. I think it would be great for you too. You surely need a drink to clear your head."

"I think you're right. What time should we go?"

"Around 8? I'll pick you up."

"Done. I gotta go now. I am needed at the showroom." I said, turning around to leave.

"Um, Olivia?"

"Yeah?"

"I don't mean to be rude or something, but I just don't want the lads to be there at the club with you. I know you all are great friends and all, but I think it would be better if you just forget them for sometime. Because if you want to see the lads, you HAVE to see Louis. And THAT will bring those memories back to you. I hope you understand what I mean? So don't let the lads know that you're going to the club with me. Ok?" He said, with a serious look on his face.

"Um, yeah, Ok. I won't tell them. I wasn't even planning on telling them anyways. See ya."

"Okay, see you!" he smiled.
