- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Yoemon rested his head on the wall and pumped his hand in the air with a mental, Whoop!
He just successfully invited Suga out on Valentines Day. She might not think of it as a date but Yoemon does, however creepy that might sound to others. He called in for a reservation at Nanya Café for two at 11AM.
The following day, Friday, February 12, other girls were excitedly handing out their chocolates to guys. Rika had already given the others chocolates, except Yoemon. He got chocolates from Sakura, too, but he got nothing from Suga while the others got some.
"I understand that midget not giving me any but even Suga?" Yoemon sat down, dejected.
"That's rough, buddy." Haruta patted Yoemon's back. "First of all, don't call my cute little sister midget. Second of all, there is no second I just wanted to say first of all."
Don't beat yourself up for a piece of chocolate, man, Yoemon told himself. You'll be seeing her this Sunday anyway. He slapped his hands on his cheeks. That's right, he has an advantage over the others.
"But still, not even an obligatory chocolate?" was the only thought that swam through his head throughout the day. Even until he was walking home with Suga.
"U-um, Yoemon," Suga grabbed the sleeve of Yoemon's polo, which made him stop walking and look at her.
"Yeah?" Maybe it was the sunset that was reflecting on her face but she was definitely red in the face. "Oi, are you okay?"
"I-I'm fine!" She almost screamed. "Here, take this. Don't open that until you get home. Bye!" She pushed a tiny red box into his hands and ran away, leaving Yoemon staring dumbfounded at the trail of smoke she left behind.
The tiny red box in his hands had a cute pink bow on top. "Is this a prank?" He thought as he made his way home.
* * * * *"I'm home!"
"Welcome back nii-chan!"
"Oh? What do we have here?" Yoemon's mom inspected the box. "Who's it from?"
"Suga," Yoemon replied after kissing his mom on the cheek.
His mom was grinning from ear to ear. "Perhaps something for Valentines?"
"WHAT?!" He choked. "I never even thought of that,"
"Nii-chan, you're an idiot. Even I can tell,"
