I woke up to my phone ringing very loudly, groaning and turning to my side I picked it up. As my eyes focused on the bright screen I read "672-729-1829" had called me several times. Before it stopped ringing I answered it "hello?" I said my voice sounding horrible. "It's Lucy and Lauren, can you like let us in? Your LAME bodyguard won't let us in." She yelled "lame" very loudly.
"Pass him the phone," I said "yes?" I heard from my bodyguard—Richard—"please let them in, and send them to my room."
I hung up and looked around. My room was a mess.
"Fuck," I said stretching my legs in the bed, I didn't even want to get up — I wanted to lay there all day and catch up on Netflix with everything.
They don't have Netflix in jail.
"This house is huge!" I heard Lucy's voice shout from outside my door. "Shit," I whispered tinkering around fixing the drawers and throwing on a shirt which was probably see through but I didn't care. I hair was a mess which I took together and brought it into a REALLY messy bun. A knock at the door took me by surprise wishing was stupid because I knew they were coming.
"Yo y/n, can you hurry?" I heard Lauren say from the other side of the door.
"What's the big news you couldn't have just texted me?" I said walking out of my room buttoning up my shirt — Lauren and Lucy scanned me up and down and then giggled looking at each other. "What?" I said "you look sexy," Lucy teased. I rolled my eyes and closed the door behind me "we just came by."
"Wait I thought—" Lucy started but was cut off by Lauren — "need a Pepsi?" Lauren pulled out a Pepsi from her purse and handed it to me — I shook my head "your so unoriginal, I've had millions of tweets today." I handed it back to her. "I'm not even a Pepsi fan," I sighed.
"You are now, because we're getting your girl back." Lucy said "Right Lauren?" She nudged her and Lauren nodded shyly. "Can we come in?" Lucy pointed at the door behind me and I scratched my head "I didn't uhm..." I didn't finish that sentence because I was pushed by Lucy as she ran inside of the room. "This room is huge! And...a little messy..." I smiled stupidly, "told you."
"Did you just wake up?" Lauren asked me pointing at the bed. I just nodded crossing my arms with a smile on my face "is this yours?" Lucy picks up a thong with the tip of her index finger and Lauren looks at me, I just wink at them. And Lucy drops it. "We should go to the living room, you kids had enough fun." I said shooing them out. They walked out giggling and as they both left I wanted to scream "FUCK!" Because I didn't clean.
"Other than mocking me and snooping through my stuff, what are you guys really here for?" Lauren and Lucy look at each other.
"You need to get out of the house," I laugh "why?" I respond to Lauren, and she walks up to me as Lucy slouched onto the couch. "Messy buns are for messy relationships," her hand twirled a piece of my hair. "So poetic," I tease and she rolls her eyes — "c'mon not everyone thinks you're a girlfriend beater—" Lucy says and I raise an eyebrow at Lauren. She just avoids eye-contact. "That's not what her tweets say," I cross my arms — "I can't just jump over to the innocent side that easily—" I was going to cut her off but Lucy did it for me "so you don't believe her?" She says from the couch looking straight at Lauren. "Babe we talked about this," Lucy says and I smile at Lauren "babe?" I wanted to say but it wasn't any of my business.
Lauren looks at me and smiles weakly, a look that says whoops I wanted to say something about their relationship but I didn't. And it was better that way. "I do believe her, I told you. It's just I'd like to show my feminist side towards the groups fanbase." She said and I laughed "so I'm not a female now?"
"So you're not guilty now?" I furrowed my eyebrows confused but ignored it. "I didn't come here to argue, everyone needs to know the truth." I winced "no, you can't tell people." I said walking over to the couch and Lauren staying behind. "Why not? Because you're one true love lied against you in court?!"
"I thought you were here to get me together with Kendall again." I said crossing my arms almost angrily "Lucy said that, I don't want you and Kendall together." Lauren said coming from behind me and Lucy just pretended to be on her phone. "I don't want you involved in my love life," I said — "I'm not getting involved in your love life," she raised her voice "then why do you care?!" I said almost shouting at her. "Can you both stop?!" Lucy got up off the couch. "You're acting like children!"
I sighed "well maybe you shouldn't have stopped by," I said to her. "Look y/n, I'm not your friend. I came for her, I don't need to be here." Lauren said. "Where are you going Lauren?!" Lucy said as Lauren was stormed towards the exit. "Anywhere but here."
"She's just—" I cut Lucy off "I don't need to hear it, I get it you don't think I'm a bad person...but she does, and I'm not the type to come between a relationship." I looked at Lucy "look Lauren doesn't mean that shit she's just you know on that time of the month, she doesn't mean any of it. She talks about you all the time, she wants justice for you. I think if everybody knew everybody will start to realize you're not who they think you are and she uhm...she just cares about that's all." Lucy says — "and we're not in a relationship...it's complicated."
I smile — "thanks Lucy," she opens her arms and I open mine to give her a quick hug. "We both care about you," I sighed as she let go — a car honk was heard from outside my house "that's her." I nodded.
"Bye," she presses her lips onto my cheek and rushes out of the house "bye?" I said as she left.- A/N
