"You don't get it, my life is still ruined because of that... that bitch," she stammered. The shakiness in her voice, expressed how hurt she was. I had warned her not to look at my phone, but she did. Not knowing how to make her feel better, I placed my hand on the right wing of her back. Within a couple of second she had stood up and walked to the door– "y/n stop!" I yelled before her hand touched the doorknob.

"Why?!" Her face still facing the door. I exchanged a look with Lucy, that had given her the cue to leave the room. "You said it too, Lauren." Her voice broke "I'm just a monster..." she created a fist and rested her forehead on the door. "I know the truth now... y/n. That's not you, and– and I'll make sure everybody knows that you're not what they think." My voice became shakier as I approached her slowly, I wasn't scared of her. I loved her. She shook her head, but I wrapped my arms around her back and listened to her sob.

At that moment I didn't want to move, the front she put on before was gone. I could feel how hurt she felt and it pained me. I just wanted this to all go away for her, she's not who I thought she was. She's so much better— here in my arms. "I'm sorry..." she whispered after she gained control of her sobs. "Don't be," she turned to face me and i placed my hands on her face to wipe away her tears with my thumbs. "I care about you so much y/n." I looked into her heart eyes and spoke "I think I love you..."
