Chapter 9: First Mission

Skyler's POV

Andito na nga kami sa office ni auntie at kasalukuyan niya kaming sinesermonan.

"Alam niyo bang delikado ang ginawa niyo ha?" bakas sa boses niya ang awtoridad at inis.

"Don't blame me this jerk is the one who started that fight" I defended.

"Magkakasakitan kayo niyan eh" sabi pa niya at bahagyang huminahon ang pananalita niya.

Tinignan niya kaming dalawa.

What's the difference pag may training? Ganun din naman eh.

"Hindi naman sa lahat ng pagkakataon Sky and Ziro. Nasa labas kayo ng training ground at walang nagbabantay. Pano kung may mangyari sa isa sainyo? Ziro ano bang problema? Ito ang unang beses na nagka offense ka at ikaw pa mismo ang nauna"

Napayuko naman si Ziro. Nabasa ni Auntie iniisip ko.

Pssh she's doing it again.

Napadamay pa nga ko dito aish.

"At ikaw Sky di porket pamangkin kita ay kukunsintihin na kita kahit pa ang ginawa mo ay sasabihin mong depensa sa sarili mo mali pa din ang gumamit kayo ng mga mahika niyo para maglaban ng walang pahintulot. You two will be punish" ma-awtoridad niyang sabi.

Di na lang ako umimik. Gusto ko na magpahinga. I want to go to a place where I can't see the face of this jerk beside me.

"Im going to send you in a mission without any transportation. You should go there on your own no portals, carriage, nor a pegasus. I don't care whatever means you use"

First mission huh?

Wait why should I go in that mission with this jerk? I can go by myself either I don't need help from other people especially from this jerk, he's just a pain-in-the-ass.

"You two are going to Ximia Valley to get the eye of Vexus"

What kind of eye is that? Is that a literal eye? What is that for?

"It is a very important eye got it? But the way to go there will not be easy as a cake and before I forgot Xenon will also go with you para di kayo maligaw"

"I can go by myself!" sabay naming sabi.

Napatingin naman ako kay Ziro at sinamaan ko siya ng tingin tss.

Now she's acting as a strict Headmistress.

"Yeah I know and don't worry this won't happen again" I answered.

I understand my aunt eventhough I hate it when she's talking like that.

Normally auntie always acts as a child if you compare my attitude to hers you can easily determine that my way of thinking is more of like an adult while my aunt is not but when it comes to this, you know what Im talking about she's so strict and once she said it she means it and you can't do anything about it kaya susunod ka na lang whether you like it or you like it okay joke yun tss di bagay.

"Can I go out now?"

"Haay naku ikaw bata ka talaga pagkatapos masermonan ganyan ka na naman"

"I'm always like this and you know me. I'm tired as well. I need to rest" I said.

"Aish oo ng bata ka labas na kayo pasaway ka talaga sa lahat ng pwedeng manahin sa nanay mo yang katigasan pa talaga ng ulo. You're so reckless haay alis na agahan niyo bukas ha 6:00 dapat nandun na kayo sa may gate ng Academy okay and dont worry about Xenon alam na niya yun and before I forgot dumaan muna kayo sa infirmary para magamot yang mga galos niyo" she said.

Umalis na ko dun sa loob boring. Naramdaman ko namang lumabas na din siya kaya dali dali akong naglakad papunta sa infirmary at sa kasamaang palad kasabay ko siya and yeah kasama ko na naman siya.

Argh.

"A reckless sleepyhead"

"Shut up" I hissed.

"Stubborn plus Reckless plus sleepyhead Princess"

"Stop teasing me jerk just leave me alone wala na kong oras makipagaway pa sayo pagod na ko kaya tumigil ka na" I said without looking at him.

"Tss."

So ayun nauna na siya sa infirmary at sumunod naman ako. People here are really weird but I'm also weird because I belong to their race aish I have to study more about the history of our own races.

After kong magpagamot sa infirmary ay pumunta ako sa library at kung minamalas ka nga naman the jerk is here sitting and reading a book.

Ano ba yan pati dito makikita ko mukha niya? Tss.

Hindi niya siguro ako napansin kasi busing-busy sa pagbabasa di ko na lang din pinansin ang ginagawa niya at humiram na ko ng book sa history section ng library.

Hinanap ko yung about Ximia Valley kinuha ko na rin yung book na ang title ay Lithivian Dragons, and yung Vexus, the legendary dragon. Nagbasa basa muna ako ng kaunti. Don ako sa part na walang taong nagbabasa don sa dulong part. I want a quiet place when reading or you can just say a place where I can't see that ice guy's face.

May bantay pala ang cave na yon. May mapa kaya dito? Binuklat ko ang book at nakita ko don ang mapa papunta don sa Ximia Valley.

I examined the map. I guess Auntie is right mahirap ang daan puro danger zone to. Swerte ng makabalik kami ng walang kagalos galos. Pagkatapos nun ay lumabas na ko ng library. Napansin ko namang wala na din siya dito.

Tsk bakit ba pinansin ko pa yon ano naman kung wala na siya dito? Maganda nga yon kasi wala ng bwisit.

At ayun nga pumunta na ko sa dorm namin dun na ko magbabasa ng madami.

I also need to prepare for the first mission and I should continue to study about that Ximia Valley and the eye of that Vexus whatsoever.

This will be fun. Magpapahinga na muna ako. Pagod na pagod na katawan ko.
