Never let the space between you grow.

There are NO couples who never fight, have problems, and argue over random little things; but the most important principle you must have in your mind is that no matter what - you both will have to fix it.

Pride, ego, blame, being the victim etc etc has no meaning when your relationship is worth more than the fight itself.

" Don't let the fight last too long "

When people argue, they tend to go quiet and distant from their partner because they're "upset" and "hurt". Even if the other must apologize, you have to still believe that you must communicate and talk about the problem and solve it. 

Not just sit and wait.

If your partner is the stubborn kind, be sure that it's okay if you go and at least sit quietly with them.

Make them sure you're giving them a chance to make it up.

if you don't, they will only feel like you might "need your space" and "need your time" to calm down and they will distant themselves from you, waiting for you to approach.

If you were that stubborn person who's hesitant on fixing it, then at least remind your partner that you love them even if you accidentally hurt them. Don't leave them hanging for too long: it will only create insecurities and fears.

Accepting that the fight lasts long will only build up more tension, more stress, more doubts and assumptions about how things are going in the relationship.

No one wants to live in fear of the unknown; especially of the lover's feelings towards them.

[[Be clear with your emotions. Ask clear questions about theirs. Apologize. Don't blame. Focus on the problem. Focus on the solution. Move on together. Make a new page. Don't hold a grudge]] = Forgive and forget. You both deserve it.

If you do that, I promise that no matter how grumpy the relationship may seem during the days in which you fight, you will make it through, peacefully, as though you had just started dating yesterday.
