It was my first time ever going to a musical festival. It made it a million times better that my favorite band was playing, too.
The lead singer spoke into the microphone with this passion that you just never saw anymore, "At all the concerts the musicians always ask how you're all doing tonight, but the crowd never gets to ask how we're doing... I thought it would be pretty damn cool if we could try it out."
My eyes widened and I felt so alive as everyone around me screamed, "HOW ARE YOU DOING TONIGHT?!" I screamed along with them, and I was just a lost voice in the crowd, but I still felt unbelievably special.
"PRETTY DAMN GREAT!" She screamed.
Unique. Iconic. Beautiful.
