As the sun finally sets outside my window I immediately sit upright and swing my legs over the side of the bed. I stretch, because honestly staring at a ceiling for 4 hours straight without moving is torture.

I get up and get dressed in a new uniform. I already know I'm going to skip class, again, but I couldn't care less. I have things I need to take care of.

My mind is a mess as I walk out the door trying to figure out what to do first. I decide to go out to town, and hopefully find Anteiku. I go through a series of corners and walk until I find the familiar coffee shop.

I open the door and the bell at the top rings. Relief rushes over me when I see Kaneki turn to look at me from behind the counter and Touka sweeping under a table.

"N-Natsuki?" Kaneki seems surprised.

"Oh thank god! What happened? Where is Hinami?" I stumble all the words at once.

"Natsuki, calm down. Hinami is upstairs, and for Mado? He is dead. Gone. Thanks to Hinami." Touka explains.

"What? I- never mind, that's not important right now. I need to talk to you about the boy that ratted me out. Aido," I tell them.

"Yeah, him? I saw him running away when we got to you," Touka pauses and glances at Kaneki, "Why? Did you talk to anyone about it?"

"That's what I came to you about! I know I said that I won't every trust another Ghoul, but right now I really need you!" I stop when I realize I was raising my voice. Thank goodness nobody was in the shop. I sigh, "I need to know wether I should tell the headmaster about him and risk him getting killed, or if I should leave it be and risk me getting caught by the CCG,"

"What, are you stupid?" Touka starts, "Obviously you should tell about him! He did something unforgivable! Who cares if he gets killed, we can't risk you getting caught and the CCG finding about all of Anteiku and more,"

Kaneki looks at her and nods in approval.

"I know...but-"

"There is nothing else to it, Natsuki. We can't have something bad happen, again," Kaneki says.

I look at both of them. They were right, Aido didn't deserve forgiveness for something like that.

"Thanks you guys, and, I'm sorry. About everything," I apologize and hope that they forgive me.

"Of course, Natsuki. Make sure to stop by again, Hinami misses you," Kaneki smiles at me and I wave goodbye to them.

I walk out the door, hearing the sound of the bell behind me as I leave.

I head straight for the academy, and straight into the headmasters office, already knowing what to say.
