Leena's P.O.V.

Sorrow. Guilt. Regret. Despair. I was overwhelmed. I would give anything to turn things to how they were, to go back to being normal. To go back to when it all started....

                  - "But this isn't possible", Douaa's frown conveyed more words than what she restricted herself with.

-" Please don't waste my time by coming up with your own theories", the woman's annoyance was graspable in her voice.

- "But that's what's written", my comment was lost midst Douaa's dramatic explanation of her point of view to the woman seated in front of her.

-"Please don't think by yourself", she interrupted Douaa, and suddenly, the whole class erupted with laughters from what our physics teacher just said.

Arguments, at the time, were our biggest concern. They always got us into trouble, but we never succeeded to restrain our comments. The theories we come up with were usually refused by the teachers, and with no valid explanation about why they're not acceptable, they always ridiculed us. It was going to be a normal day, or so I thought until later that day.

********

Homeroom carried the usual scent, with the teacher beginning the scolding session the moment she entered the class, and started with the horrible marks we got in the physics test she gave us earlier. Then, she addressed several other reiterative topics, that no one cared enough to pay attention to.

To our surprise, the teacher's scolding suddenly came to an end, and I caught her snapping her head towards our direction in a super human speed, and I can swear I saw her smirking before saying 3 words that made me kiss my daydreams goodbye, "Leena and Douaa".

I gulped hardly, taking a sideways glance at Douaa by my side, only to catch her eyes, and I took this as a sign that she's just as nervous as I am.

- "Yes Ma'am", I managed to reply.

- "Almost all of the teachers that teach you complained about your rebellious behavior, and how your meaningless interruptions makes it difficult for them to explain, along with the other factors which you are familiar of (side murmuring and sarcastic comments from the whole class), so we reported this to the head office".

I clenched the table's sides, and I would be lying if I said I wasn't getting even more anxious than I already am.

-"And the school's head council decided on giving you a yellow card (a warning)", she continued. She smirked again after looking at our shocked expressions, before she started blabbering about something I didn't bother listening to, but she was soon interrupted with none other than our good old friend, the bell.

I wasted no time in rushing out of the class, feeling nothing but rage and loath to the woman who ruined my day, and it wasn't long before I noticed Douaa following me.

- "Well that was quite unexpected", Douaa started as soon as she caught up with me at the school gates. "They couldn't possibly kick us out! Could they?", she asked, but I remained silent, fidgeting with the possibility.

Douaa's P.O.V.

- "Out of all the people in this whole school they chose to kick "us" out !", I shouted facing Leena. Deep down, I really sympathise with her, for always being forced to listen to my dramatic eruptions.

- "Woah!! Calm down, they said nothing about kicking us out.... yet. It's just a warning!", it always amuses me how calm she acts, even in the most drastic situations.

- "We did nothing wrong to get this WARNING!"

- "Its okay, they'll probably forget about the whole thing soon", she murmured in reply.

We walked in silence for a while, and my thoughts started wandering about how Leena's bag is probably twice as heavy as mine, as I always miss getting almost all of my things, and the moment I opened my mouth to complain about it, a shiny, black sports car passed by us in a high, racing speed.

The guy driving was clearly handsome, even though I only caught a glimpse of his curly chocolate-brown hair, which had some of its curls ending above the dark sunglasses he was wearing over his toffee-taned skin.

At that moment, a cold breeze passed by, and for a second, I thought it started raining, until I came back to Earth, and realised that the guy splashed water on us with his car.

I shouted at the guy, who no longer was in sight, till I was content. I started drilling the water off me, giving the guy a share of cusses and curse words that'll last for probably his entire lifetime, when my eyes caught a folded paper, that sticked out of the pockets of my wet jeans. I unfolded it carefully, feeling Leena's curious eyes on me as I did so. I wondered if it was one of the random notes I put everywhere, but came to an obvious realisation that it wasn't once I read the letters:

"DON'T WORRY, SOON THE DEMONS OF THE WORLD WILL ARRIVE TO TAKE THE SMART ONES OUT TO THEIR DESTINY"
