Douaa's P.O.V.

He was there, leaning against a wall behind him, still wearing his dark sunglasses. I couldn't say for sure whether he was looking at me or not, but somehow, I felt that he was. People were walking between us, but I made sure not to take my eyes off him, and to my utter surprise, he started moving towards me, tossing the burger's wrap while at it.

In what seemed like a fraction of a second, he was standing right infront of me. I looked up to meet his face, and felt the urgent need to snatch his sunglasses, that were covering almost all of his face.

- "Don't worry, I know you need your friend to keep you from freaking out and complete your sentences, but it's okay. I won't do you bad", his laugh pissed me off.

- "EXCUSE ME!", I scolded, not being able to think of anything to say at the moment.

- "You heard me and I think you already guessed how well I know you", he smiled.

- "First of all, if you knew me that well, you should've guessed already that you better cut to the point", I took a moment to breath and focus in not messing up, and then continued, "Secondly....", he took his hands out of his pockets, and folded them to his chest as if showing me that he is listening carefully.
"I consider it disrespectful to wear sunglasses while having a serious discussion", I said louder than I intended as I snached off his sunglasses.

It was his turn to be at a loss of words. He looked into my eyes for few seconds, but then lowered his face, letting his curls cover his eyes again. 'His Eyes'. They were wide, greenish grey, and were hard to read. They didn't show any signs of anger or sadness, but they didn't show any signs of happiness either. Looking into them made a slight feeling of regret hit me, but I decided against showing it.

He opened his mouth to say something, but then decided against it, as he closed it again. After a few seconds, he calmly said,
" I knew that you'd somehow get angry or scream, but I didn't expect you to be bothered by my shades." He was sure managing to stay calm, but I could still feel how nervous he was, about whatever was his reason.

- "Sorry but ... do you mind?", he extended his hand to reach for his shades. I hesitated a bit, looking at the hand infront of me, but then I sighed and placed the sunglasses in his palm without saying a word.

He is definitely hiding something, because his eyes were nothing to be agitaged about. Actually, they were the most beautiful thing I've ever seen in my life. I shook my thoughts away, and tried to say something to ease the awkward silence that fell upon us.

                 - "Sorry for wasting your time Douaa". I was more than relieved that he said something before I did, because I usually turn awkward into super awkward. "I hope we'll meet again very soon to chat", him laughing at the end wasn't a good sign for me.

- "I still don't know what's this all about. I don't even know who you are!", I tried not to rush my indirect interrogation.

- "Lets take this slowly. At the end, you and Leena will both know everything. And by the way, my name's Jace", his smirk is now associated with him in my mind.

Leena's P.O.V

I jumped from my seat, a small shriek escaping my mouth, and instead of feeling the air behind my back, I felt a warm and a hard material. I abruptly turned around, only to come face to shoulder (almost) with a guy, who seemed to be around my age.

He had a wavy, soft, dirty blonde hair that covered most of his forhead. He was tall and slim, and a caramel skin tone with a slight hue of light pink gave him the perfect finishing touch for his figure. The best part about him, however, were his almond eyes, that were grassy green
-with a tint of yellow, along with speckles of light grey.

I kept studying his eyes, and as I looked deeper into them, I felt something inexplicable building up inside me, and as if a cue that he felt the same, he quickly diverted his gaze away.

- "Sorry", I finally managed to say, before remembering what frightened me in the first place to make me run into him. I didn't catch what he replied with, because I hastily turned to face the woman again, and only now, I noticed the necklace she was clutching onto so hard.

She kept staring at me as if I was some kind of a miracle, and it made me wonder how no one else found her peculiar. I turned around to look at the people's expression, but no one seemed to be bothered, except the guy behind me.

His pupils dilated the moment he saw her, and I think he took a step back, but he instantly managed to get his act together. He then looked at me as if asking if I could see her too, so I just nodded my head in agreement as I always do when I am flustered, only to get an arched eyebrow from him.

We both turned to the woman again, but she was gone. She just disappeared, and the anomalism of the situation made me do the only thing I managed to do at that moment.

I held my stomach, and used the edge of the seat nearby to support my trembling self, as I laughed so hard, that I thought I'd burst. The guy looked at me as if I was some kind of a crazy monkey, but then smiled.

-"I can't quite grasp the reason behind your laughter", he said. His voice was soft, but at the same time powerful and deep.

- "I really don't know", I said after I was done laughing, "I guess it would've been really strange if it was real".

- "It was real", his confidence left me looking at him in utter disbelief. How could he be able to stay calm if he knows it's real? And the way he said it made it feel like it's a normal part of his everyday life.

                      - "Does this happen a lot to you?", I was only aware of the words after they escaped my mouth.

-"Actually, this never happened to me before today. The same goes with the other bizarre things", he shrugged. In response, I quietly replayed the memories of everything that happened today.

- "Do these bizarre things include a letter, that looks as if it was written by a dying vampire?", I already knew the answer.

              - "Yes", he answered with no hesitation, "Wait a second. How did you.... Did you get one too?!", he asked me back.

- "Yup, and for me, this seems like a high-priority issue. So, we have to carry this conversation somewhere else", and the moment I said that, the bus jolted to a stop. I promptly got down, and asked him to follow me.

- "Where to?", he asked, not actually objecting to follow me.

- "The park "
