Chapter 21: Trust Can Be Broken

I looked at Justin for about 5 minutes straight. I don't wanna lie anymore. I already did on live T.V! I can't do it to Selena. I mean I love Selena so much! I also love Justin. As a brother of course.

"I don't know Justin. I already lied on live T.V. We need to tell her. And why is it bad if I tell her?" I asked him.

He sighed like if it was the obvious thing. But it wasn't. I rose my eyebrow waiting for his response.

"I don't know I guess she will not want to hang out with you anymore and if she does hang out with you it would be awkward?" he said.

He sounded so dumb. I started to laugh which made him real mad. I didn't stop laughing.

"Justin, you're not giving me a real explanation. If she finds out I don't think it will be awkward and also i don't think we will hang out." I said a little sad.

"I guess, but if she does ask you to hang out say yes! at my house." He grinned. I smiled. I could tell he still likes her.

"Okay." I chuckled. I got up and went up to my room. I wanted to hang out with my friends today. I mean they said they also wanted to.

I started to text them all in like a group thing.

To: Amber, Mark, Tiffany, Evan

Wanna go to the mall or something? :)

I finished typing and laid on my bed for an answer. I mean sometimes they answer real quick.

About 20 minutes later they STILL haven't texted back. I wasn't so bored cause I was watching T.V.

I was getting real frustrated so I called Amber. No answer. Tiffany. No answer. Mark. No answer. Evan. No answer!!

What the heck? are they avoiding me or maybe they're busy. But I mean it's sorta the afternoon. It's 1:30 pm.

Whatever. I'm going to the mall I don't wanna be here all bored. Justin is probably busy like always. I grabbed my purse and phone and left my room.

I went downstairs and saw Justin on his phone and watching t.v. Until there was a knock on the door. "I'll get it!" I yelled.

I opened it and saw Scooter. "Hey Scooter." I said. "Hey Jessica, is Justin here?" he asked. "Um yeah come in." I said. We both walked to the living room.

I saw Justin stand up. "Hey Scooter." Justin embraced him in a hug. "Hey Justin we need to talk." he said. "Does this have to include me and Jessica?" Justin asked.

Scooter nodded his head. I sat down on the couch and sighed. I don't want anymore drama! I listened to their conversation.

"The paparazzi were at the park this morning when you went with Jessica and the kids and took pictures. Even when you guys were talking to Selena." scooter said. What? I didn't even see them.

"People and fans are not convinced you guys as 'friends' so I finally got an interview with Jason Greenfield remember him?" Scooter continued.

Justin nodded. "Well since he's been so busy lately I finally got an interview. You and Jessica so that Jessica can tell the truth." Scooter continued. They both looked a me.

I just rolled my eyes. "Okay, when's the interview?" Justin asked. "Tomorrow." scooter answered. Justin then looked at me. I nodded my head.

"Okay I guess we'll be ready tomorrow." Justin said. "Okay that's really all if there's anything I'll call." Scooter said. "Okay thanks man." Justin said.
