I woke up to the sound of my phone. It was a text message from Amber!

Amber: Hey :) you wanna hang out with us today?

Jessica: Sure!

Amber: Great :) Come to the nearest ice cream shop at 3 :) see you there

Jessica: okay see you there :)

I looked at the time and it was 11 am. I got up and went into the shower. I took my pjs off and walked in the shower.

Last night was great yet crazy. I made new friends and Justin got drunk. When he promised he wouldn't.

30 minutes later I was out the shower and all dressed. I wanted to go and check on Justin. I left my room and went into Justin's.

I walked in and he was still lying down where mom and I left him. Yes I called Pattie mom. I walked toward Justin and shook him.

"Justin." I said. No response. "Justin!" I said again. No response! "JUSTIN!" I yelled. He jumped up and looked everywhere. "Owww, what happened? why am I here and not in the party." he said. I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms.

I gave him a look. "What?" he said. "You got drunk last night and you said you wouldn't!" I yelled. "I'm sorry, my friends were convincing me." He said looking down. "Whatever, I had to call Pattie to come an get you and I. You were acting like a little kid. Mom was so disappointed." I said.

He put his hands on his face. I sat down next to him and rubbed his back. "Go take a shower you smell." I said. He smirked. I gave him a serious face. He sighed and walked into his bathroom.

I left the room and went downstairs. I heard the doorbell ring and went to get it. I opened it and saw mom. "Hi honey." she said and hugged me. I hugged back.

"Hi." I said. We walked into the kitchen. "Want some bacon and eggs? " Pattie asked. "Yeah sure and make some for Justin too." I said. She nodded and started getting the ingredients.

"So how was the party?" Pattie asked. "It was nice until Justin came and ruined it." I said. Her smiled turned into a frown. "Honey, I don't think he meant ?to ruin it, he was just trying to have fun?" she said.

I rolled my eyes. "Then maybe he should have not taken me. If we were in his car he could have killed us!" I said.

Pattie was quiet. She put my plate in front of me. Justin was coming downstairs. He came into the kitchen. Pattie and I were quiet.

"Look, Jessica, mom um I'm really sorry. I didn't mean to get that drunk and try to disappoint you. My friends were convincing me. I'm real sorry." he said. He looked at the floor then at me.

"Justin it's okay but next time don't even take me. Cause I don't wanna babysit 19 year olds." I said and continued eating.

He nodded and started eating too. "I'm gonna be leaving at 3 to see the new friends I made last night." I said. Both Pattie and Justin looked at me. "Oh honey that's great! where?" Pattie asked.

"At the nearest ice cream shop which is downtown." I replied. She nodded with a smile. "Can I come?" Justin asked. "No." I said coldly.

"Okay, god I was kidding!" he said putting his hands up in surrender. I laughed and so did Pattie. "Tell me about them and what happened until Justin had his little problem." Pattie said then looking at Justin.

I laughed and explained everything. "Wait Evan was flirting with you? I told him before not to do that!" Justin said. "What are talking about? and I don't like him he has his Tiffany." I said rolling my eyes.

"Yeah I know Evan likes many girls." Justin said. I giggled. "How bout Mark?" Pattie said. "What about Mark?" I said. I blushed a little.

"She's blushing! ooooo!" Justin said. He squeezed my cheek which got me real mad. "Oh shut up Justin! I don't like him!" I said. I was getting real mad.

"I'm just saying, be careful with love, it could leave or disappear for the other person." he said. He was getting me real mad! I didn't 'love' or 'like' Joey!

"What like you and Selena?" I said coldly and left. I ran up the stairs and went into my room. i locked the door.

Why would he say that? I've never had a boyfriend and why would I have one now? I barley know Mark! he's sorta my friend. I'm not interested in Mark.

I'm more interested in Amber. She seems like a good friend. And I guess Tiffany. Evan is maybe if he try not to flirt with me. And Mark, I guess so too. He seemed real sweet.

I looked at the clock and it was 2 pm. I felt bad about what I said to Justin. I'm gonna go and apologize. I left my room and went downstairs.

"Mom.. Where's Justin?.." I said. She looked at me sorta disappointed. "He's in his room, and I want you to know he's been thru a lot. And what you said was not right honey, he's just trying to... you know tell you about his experience." She said.

I nodded and went upstairs. I felt real bad. I just wanted him to stop talking about Mark and us 'loving' each other.

I was at his door and I was nervous. I knocked and walked in. He was listening to really loud music in his headphones. He had his eyes closed

I looked at him and then sat on his bed. He opened one eye then shut it. I took his headphone off. "Hey! leave me alone." He said.

"No, I'm sorry I didn't mean to say that, I'm just not in this whole love thing cause I never was loved. I just.... I'm just real sorry." I said looking down.

A tear rolled down my cheek. Justin caught it and wiped it off. "Jessi, it's okay, it's that love is something that can't be explained. It makes you real happy. And it hurts when later on they don't love you anymore for various reasons." He said.

"And I'm glad you share this with me." I said. I hugged him and so did he. "I'm just trying to be a good brother to you." he said. "You already are." I said. I released the hug.

Justin looked at his phone then back at me. "I think it's almost time for you to go." He said. I nodded. I was heading toward the door and then stopped.

"Can you drive me there?" I asked him. He nodded and walked downstairs with me. "MOM I LEAVING WITH JUSTIN!" I yelled. "OKAY HONEY COME BACK SOON!" she yelled back.

I laughed and left out the door with Justin. We entered his car. he has so many! and drove off. The car drive was quiet.

I texted amber telling her the name of the ice cream shop we were at. She said it was that place so Justin parked. "you be safe!" Justin said. I laughed then nodded.

"Okay bye!" I said and left the car. He drove off and I walked real slow to the ice cream shop. I think Joey and I are gonna be great best friends.

I entered the shop and saw Amber, Tiffany, Evan, Mark and some random girl. I walked toward them.

"Hey Jessica!" Amber said and hugged me. I hugged back and sat next to her.

Everyone was staring at me. Even that random girl.

"Oh Jessica, this is Heather, Mark's girlfriend." amber said. WHAT? GIRLFRIEND? i smiled at her and looked at Mark. He just smiled.

Fuck.
