Chapter 30: Learning Something New

I will only have 2 chapters left maybe, I'm gonna finish this story and hopefully continue a sequel.

Chris called me today saying he was coming to California tomorrow. I was so excited to see him, it's been forever. Anna also called saying she was coming with Chris. Right now I was at the lady's house who is fixing my dress, with Pattie. She was bouncing her leg for a while now, I should've been too but I was sure she was going to fix it.

She said she was almost done like 30 minutes ago which just annoyed me. "It's finished." The lady smiled. I squealed and hugged the lady. She laughed and so did Pattie. "Thank you so much, how much will it be?" Pattie asked. "About 250." The lady said. My eyes widened. Pattie took out her wallet and payed the lady. Because people usually carry 250 dollars, yeah seems legit.

"Thank you." Pattie said before we left. I was about to grab the dress, but Pattie took it first. "Pattie I'm not gonna ruin it! I didn't even do it at first." I crossed my hands. We left the lady's house and got into the car. Pattie argued that she was going to bring the dress to her house.

My party was in 2 days, I'm super excited yet nervous. I'm not those type of person who like attention, you can tell by now. Justin has been super busy and he only seems to look even more tired than he has been. I'm extremely worried and this time I am gonna tell him what's going on because that's what siblings too, and I also need him for the party.

"Thank you so much Pattie for everything." I smiled at Pattie. We were currently in her car in front of home. Did I call Justin's house home? Yes because it feels like it.

"You're welcome sweet heart, better get some sleep because tomorrow I made the decision that you need to see the venue so you can practice. I know only one day, but we will start early around 9 in the morning, got it?" Pattie explained. I nodded my head and smiled real wide. So did Pattie.

We hugged and she kissed my cheek. "I love you." Pattie said. I nodded my head. "Me too mom" I smiled and got off her car.

I went straight to Justin's room when I entered the house. He was there in his spinning chair trying to make a beat and whispering some lyrics. His chaired turned and he spotted me and jumped.

"Jessica don't do that." Justin held his chest. I laughed and approached him, with a serious face. I sat on his bed and he looked concerned. "Justin, I'm worried about you and you look so tired lately and-" "Jessica I'm alright I promise and-" "NO! you're not alright like you say you are! You look super tired and you're always everywhere! I know you're busy but calm down and relax." I yelled.

Justin looked like he wasn't even listening. I shook my head in disappointment so I got up and left. How could he?! I worried for him, I cared for him, but he didn't seem to take interest. I feel like even if he did listen, he would've not listened. He likes to finish what he started I guess.

As I was walking toward the kitchen the door bell rang, I walked toward it and opened it and saw Amber, Tiffany, Mark, and Evan. I smiled widely and hugged all of them. They laughed and hugged back. I've actually missed them. "I missed you guys so much." I smiled. "We miss you too." Evan smiled. I saw Evan and Tiffany holding hands. They noticed and they both blushed.

"So now you two are.." "Yes we're dating. Almost a month." Tiffany smiled. "Thanks to you I meet the real Tiff and we got closer than before." Evan said. I felt accomplished so I high fived myself.

"What are you guys doing here?" I asked. "We wanted to visit." Mark smiled. I forgot how Mark smiled, it felt nice to see his smile again. "And plus you're party is in two days!" Amber said.
