Cameron POV:
This was basically the first time I had driven after my accident.
My leg was able to sustain it.
Before, I was just scared I would get aches or chest pains if I were to drive.
At that time, I just decided not to take any risks.
There was no snow in the streets anymore, thankfully.
So I was all good to go on driving!
The last time I was ever at the hospital, was when I left Chase.
Weeks and weeks had gone by already.
It was weird to have not gone there for so long.
Usually, I would be there every day.
It felt a bit weird that I hadn't been here for so long.
For it was evening time, I didn't see that clearly.
Clear enough to really see the changes.
If there was any....
I got into the lobby believe it or not.
The lobby didn't change much.
Just some of the plants that are often rearranged.
I'm just so observant!
There was so much that seemed to be going on in there.
Then I saw him.
I saw Chase!
Noticing well, he had a new haircut.
Chase always had a big set of hair.
But, now he had it shaved off.
He was jumping down the stair whistling.
What was wrong with him?
"You paged?" He asks the front desk.
All the nurse did was look over at him in a rude way.
Chase just followed her stare.
He saw who it was, looking presumably confused.
Yep, that was Chase!
I stood there waiting for him, and he finally looked back at me.
"Can we talk...somewhere private?" I asked worriedly.
He listen, and followed me.
Chase admitted that he didn't have time to sign the divorce papers because he was "too busy."
Now this was a struggle.
"I don't sign these papers until we discuss our marriage" Chase demanded.
What was this?
A test?
